ball splatoon

The music is very cheery, reminiscent of SEGA, the platforming is extremely well done and responsive enough for me to feel confident enough to make very risky jumps within the first 5 minutes of playing.
The level design is fantastic for a normal playthrough.

Then you go back for the S-Ranks.

Neo Osaka broke my fingers.

I do wish there was a tad more horror aspects to the game, given what I experienced in the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc 2021 bundle I was a bit disappointed on that front, but for a dollar, you get a surprising amount of content from this game.

Go in blind. As blind as you can be.

I've never had a game invoke "that" feeling on me since Undertale.
The story is phenomenal, music slammin' so hard it had me both cryin' and amped up for more.
The battle system is complex enough to be fun but simple enough to pick up and come up with strategies with.
And most of all, the art style in this game is something I've yet to see come out of the RPG Maker engine (though I don't have a ton of games under my belt)

I really hope this game gets the recognition it deserves, truly timeless.

For a game in alpha, it most certainly already has a lot of replayability, as well as a fantastic community base.
It's got some bugs here and there, and the finnickyness of some of the bonus objectives leaves a dry taste in my mouth. (please rework the dirty water objective)
Regardless.
I can't wait to see what else it has to offer in the future.
