I like it.

Anyone that claims that VRChat hasn't decreased much in player count from this is either acting in bad faith or don't even know how to interpret a simple time series chart. To keep it simple, you need to zoom out to get a proper perspective on the situation. View the player count from all-time, a year back, half a year back, and a quarter where the noise gets smoothed out and proper comparison can be made to before. Yes, this is an actual thing to consider in time series analysis.

This is trivial, and so many people are just getting it wrong. It's just disappointing.

Anyways, this isn't to say VRChat will die. This may just be temporary setback. The point is, no one knows what's going to happen, and it's wrong to pretend there won't be any significant blowback. You just won't know.

I like it!

Surprisingly fun! Typically, the initial release tends to be somewhat empty when it comes to Paradox games, but this is a great starting point that's enjoyable from the get-go. I'm a little disappointed at the lack of a ruler designer though. Also, I was annoyed at the UI initially, but I've gotten used to it! It could still be better in my opinion, especially when it comes to tooltips.

Good game, terrible optimization. I would wait. My computer can handle it fine as well as other games like Battlefield One, ARMA 3, etc, but this game loves to constantly freeze up mid-match. I've had it freeze up when I wanted to bring up the menu to change classes. Loading screens take forever as well. It's not worth buying right now.

I'm keeping this brief, since other reviews do a fantastic enough job already.

Do you get your money's worth? Yes, if you like Paradox games.

Does it have its fair share of problems? Yes, but none are game-breaking.

Does the AI make questionable choices? Yes, but virtually any complex strategy game has this problem.

Is it realistic? No.

Is it hardcore? No.

Is it boring? No.

It's fun, and it should be even for players who are beginning to dabble in this type of strategy game.

If you like grand strategy games from Paradox, you'll enjoy this one. If you prefer a realistic wargame, go for the Operational Art of War IV or War in the East.

When this game first came out on Steam, people were intentionally putting down negative reviews for mostly two reasons:

1. Attention
2. "Freedom of Speech"

Apparently, there were so many positive reviews coming out that people thought negative reviews were being censored, especially when people were chewing others out for putting up fake negative reviews for the "lulz".

Only a few legitimately had issues with the actual game.

I also remember quite a few people, who gave the game a "negative review" because 'muh of freedom of speech', claimed that they were going to hypocritcally report the game and other reviewers for their positive reviews. They also claimed that the reviews would fall after some time.

Guess what?

It's still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ high when it comes to the ratio of positive to negative ratio of reviews.

It's a good game. I played it mostly before it came out to Steam, but it's only getting better.

It has its issues, but it is an excellent game with a devoted developer. Try it if you like these types of games!
