In the forge of gaming’s fierce delight,
Arrowhead Studios shaped our fight.
Helldivers 2, a vision grand,
With promises of battles, brave and unplanned.

As a Malevelon Creek Veteran, I recall,
The first wave’s charge against the Automatons’ thrall.
We fought with valor, in the darkest fray,
Our spirits unbroken, come what may.

Yet soon the Railgun, our trusted aid,
Was nerfed away, and frustration swayed.
The community's roar filled the digital skies,
As their cherished power was minimized.

In unity, we turned to a fresh dread,
The Sonymatons, with chains they spread.
They sought to stifle our voices and dreams,
To crush our freedom, or so it seems.

We battled on, and claimed the day,
The Sonymatons’ threat was kept at bay.
But the respite was brief, as Arrowhead’s hand,
Nerfed the flamethrower, as if unplanned.

Each nerf a wound, each update a scar,
The fun eroded, our joy afar.
The developers, lost in a ceaseless spree,
Took the thrill from the game, for all to see.

Now Helldivers 2 lies quiet and cold,
A tale of potential, but left untold.
With a heavy heart, I cannot impart,
To new players, a game that’s lost its heart.

Overhyped. Glad it's free.

This game is extremely short, no way is it worth the full price. Would recommend Escape Simulator over this any day, especially with the added Workshop support offering tons of amazing maps made by the community.

Completed the whole game in just 5hours.

Take My Money! 💰💰💰

Got Diablo IV for free with an AMD motherboard. Played a few minutes and uninstalled not long after.

Paid full price for Baldur's Gate 3, and still only in ACT1 after 46h.

This game* is brutal, and I absolutely recommend it.

The AI is one of the most active I've seen in games. They excel at fire and maneuver tactics and will undoubtedly flank and overrun you, should you not cover your sectors,

A single Insurgent can and will draw your fire from one side of the building you're in, disengage, then come around another side and flank you.

Now this is just a single NPC... Multiply that by a dozen and you'll have yourself a nightmare.

There were several instances where I noticed that an Insurgent would draw your fire from an opposite building, and within seconds, another insurgent would appear behind to flank. Giving you the Four FUs to you: Find, Fix, Flank & Finish

Devs lost their original vision of the game. Starting to lose its niche, so I can no longer recommend.

You're better off playing Call of Duty as it's much more polished.
