If you're gonna play this game I just gotta tell you a couple of things before you buy it.

First of all there's gonna be bugs, plenty of bugs (mostly because it's ubisoft) BUT don't let that interfere with your enjoyment of the game. All multiplayer games like this has bugs, and especially with the way the game works there are going to be a good amount of bugs. BUT AGAIN most of the game breaking bugs like being able to shoot with a shield in use are gone and dealt with, leaving only a few gag bugs like character distortions in the kill cams. (Which are one of my favorites)

Secondly we have the gameplay. I'm gonna be honest here, it does have a learning curve if you haven't played tactical fps' like Siege. There are the different equipment and gadget interactions between operators as well as map knowledge. There's also the different gun recoils which are going to have varying levels of difficulty, which depending on which operators your prefer are going to be interesting. There's also the different game knowledge you'll need to know. For instance: When to peek, how to hold angles, when you should push site, when you roam and how you roam, where to reinforce, and multiple other things. I managed to reach Platinum 3 (which is the second highest ranking section) with only about 850 hours of this game, and with new operators being introduced every season/every 3 months or so the way you have to play the game can change a lot depending on who's on which team. There are also those moments where you just don't know what the ♥♥♥♥ just happened but it somehow worked, which are my most favourite moments in siege. There's also the times where it's a 1v5 and your the last one alive and you gotta clutch it, and somehow you do which is just so exhilirating to do. Even if you're just spectating that person, you feel that adrenaline because you saw everything that just happened.

Lastly there's the communication. Depending on your teammates it's gonna be a good time, or the worst time of your life depending on how you sound and what you say. Obviously this is the same as other games that have Voice chat or any sort of communication with call outs that are well needed. But Siege's community can either be nice, or extremely toxic. We have calmed down a bit more this year, but just be careful. But if you have a team of 5 friends then you should be alright. Just please, don't say "OVER THERE!"

But honestly it's a really fun game, if you enjoy intense gameplay play ranked. If you wanna just chill and have fun play casual. But just remember, ROOK IS THICCCCCCCCCEST BOI AND YOU CAN'T SAY OTHERWISE.

You like games with a good story, semi-difficult gameplay (to me at least), intuitive mechanics and controls, amazing ambient music and great boss battle music and just overall amazing soundtracks, hours of gaming time as well as multiple endings get this game RIGHT NOW. Because it has all of that and more. If you don't get it then you might as well just miss out on one of the best metroidvania-roguelikes ever created. That also has 4 free dlcs, which also has a sequel coming soon.
