I'll give it a solid 9 out of 10.

- I encountered very few bugs, mainly camera related, nothing game breaking or making progression impossible
- The shooting is satisfying as hell, melee combat could get improved perhaps more responsive to parries and a way to block ranged attacks, or a gap closer, because when they pepper spray you and you have 1/3 hp, it is very likely that you will die because you have no way to refill hp unless you have picked up some scarce stimpacks, and it's better to die and come back with max hp.
- story is awesome, finally what gamers what (and i'll leave it at that).
- spectacular visuals, fps drops towards the end of the game, which is now full on assault with thousands of effects, and a background with countless sprites.
- some missions on max difficulty, it seems that they are made for company and not solo. Had to cheese these mofos
- ♥♥♥♥ zoanthropes, all my homies hate zoanthropes

Buy it.

Ignore people who have played this game for over 500h and they write negative reviews. They will keep playing even though they complain. They just need to touch some grass.
Game's fine if you like to play with other people. Solo is possible too, but even better if you can make some allies.

It has a good basis so far. Impressed with what I've seen. Obviously there are things that could improve but overall it will shape up to be a quality monster collecting game. I don't know yet how it will shape up competitively, but I think they will go for that direction, otherwise they would not implement systems that complicate things and make you think twice before clicking the attack.

Overall would recommend it, you will get plenty of game time as it(11 hours so far and have not beaten the first dojo yet because I also hunt the very rare temtems). The developers are very friendly and responsive so far, I like the way they respond on twitter/discord, and they tackle the problems right away. Every issue that pops up is being solved in a matter of hours, and its really nice that people also submit the bug reports and allow them to identify the problem quick, and provide a patch that solves the issue in the same day.

My only issue is the art direction; everything is cute and fluffy, but its early yet. Maybe later on we receive something with a different "tone". Sound is great, conversations are sometimes funny, and overall runs smooth.

Get it if you're into monster collecting games or this kind of strategy games. Might be a bit punishing for younger individuals though compared to Pokemon. One of the few Early Access games that I believe will provide what is has promised, since it does not aim for the sky, but basic things that are possible, and simply make the experience feel more cozy (watching other players walk around with their temtems, trading or battling with them, and later on housing and clubs(guilds).

Just get it already.
