So far the game is very enjoyable. If you're wondering about if this game is worth it or not, yes it is. Let me explain.

Gameplay: The gameplay is satisfying, even more-so since there are 6 spaces and if you're a ranged character you can hide behind a player that has a shield and not take damage unless an enemy does an AOE. The combat is fun as well, giving you lots of options just like the first game. Getting into a multiplayer game can be a bit buggy as sometimes you just won't be able to load in (I personally haven't had any problems with it yet but a lot of people have.) The game has a campaign mode which is nice, it's different chapters instead of 1 big campaign. Each campaign is also hours long. The first part of the campaign alone took me and 3 others about roughly 6 hours and it was a blast the entire time. We were laughing about some of the bugs, sharing loot, exploring etc. We even had a companion (you can gain a follower through tasks for about 6 rounds or even buy one) that DID NOT attack whatsoever. She hid behind our tank taking up space and every time it was her turn to attack, she did absolutely nothing. None of us were really complaining because we just kept joking about it and laughing. Sure there are some bugs here and there, but it's nothing to just not try the game or give it a negative review imo. I enjoyed every bit of the game so far.

Multiplayer: Now this is a tricky one, you can use their discord to find people to play with. But let's be honest, sometimes it doesn't really work out. But if you lucky as I did, you can find some really cool people to play it with, or if you just got 2-3 friends, or even duo it if you'd like. I'm one of those people who enjoys playing with other people over playing solo (in certain games ofc), also I've never been a fan of controlling multiple characters so the game is much better with some friends just playing, learning and laughing. Solo definitely isn't bad if you enjoy playing multiple characters though, so to each their own. Also like I said before, the game does have bugs like some reports of not being able to move, and not connecting to multiplayer. But from what I can tell the dev team is working hard to fix these bugs and they put out multiple patches the first day.

Summary: The game is worth it, especially if you enjoyed the first one. Also, idk why I see so many people complaining about the UI. The UI is perfectly fine imo, it doesn't have to be drop-dead gorgeous to be good. The game runs fine as well from what I can tell, there are some stutters here and there (and some reports of people crashing) but personally I haven't crashed yet, just some stuttering which wasn't major at all. Also some hilarious bugs that aren't game-breaking like for some reason our group went into a dungeon and a mirror of our group was standing behind the enemies menacingly just standing there which we thought was funny. Or like Edna (the companion we got for 6 rounds) not attacking and just standing there, also menacingly behind our tank. Also this game has a lot of variety on what builds you wanna go for each class, like as a scholar I even got to become a necromancer, and oh boy was that fun and strong. Anyways, yes I think the game is worth is. Nor does it hurt to wait a bit for some patches. But if you don't mind some bugs and minor stuttering you and your friends should give the game a shot.
