It's a fun run and gun platformer.

Pros:

- Powerups are great, and they're only getting better with updates.
- The devs are really responsive, I've had contact with them both on reddit and through emails.
- Randomized stage designs keep things interesting.
- Daily/Weekly leaderboards are fun to see how good (or bad) you are compared to others/friends.
- Controls feel really good, especially if you've played Megaman X games before (As a note, I'm using a PS3 controller, so I can't talk about keyboard controls!)
- The level themes are pretty neat, as well as the various mechanics and eneimes within each of the four level types.
- ON TIME UPDATES. Unlike many other Early Access games, these guys are very clearly still making an effort to refine and improve their game, and it seriously shows. Don't let the Early Access tag scare you off from buying.

Cons:

- No story mode. (Yet?)
- Randomized stage designs can occasionally be unfair. Not impossible though, but unfair.

This game is pretty short, hence the $10 price tag, but I feel it's pretty worth it. There are several different ways of approaching most of the levels. Want to rush though and beat the crap out of everyone? Go for it. Wanna be stealthy and avoid being seen? You can do that too~ The storyline also branches in a few parts, so there's some replayablity to it. I still go back and replay it from time to time (hence the review now), so if you're looking for a neat little puzzle/action game to sink some time into, would recommend it 100%.

A perfect little RPG for people who are short on time with great replayability, due to it's rogue like traits.

This game man, I had a lot of fun with it. If you want to play a metroidy style game that has tons of puzzles and riddles and such to solve? This game is something you should seriously pick up.

If you don't want to take notes/screenshots/etc though? You should probably look for another game. For the most part, all of the puzzles are pretty fair, but there are a few that kinda made me go "...really?"

If you're looking for a good challenge, I can not recommend this game enough. My only regret is that I didn't hear about it soon enough to get in on the kickstarter for the sequel they're working on.

That said, I admit to getting frustrated at the very end and succumbed to having a friend give me a few tips xD After 90 hours I was just ready to be done, ya know? It was kinda frustrating, but as a whole, I still love the hell outta this game <3
