The new DLC, and new DLC format is not worth the price they are charging, not even close despite some good creativity in here. Along with them increasing all the prices for the previous stuff over the last 8 years of WH1 and WH2, reduction of actual content compared to previous and much cheaper lord packs, and eradication of a free lord for everyone to enjoy, its just not good enough with it being heavily bugged on all 3 lord fronts, half baked in many areas and the game is in similar declining stability state as a junkies carpet.

CA need to do better, but I do believe they will not.

A great example of how to stick corks in your ears as a gaming company, and continue down a path of missteps, mistakes, mishandles and moronicism. It is a little sad as this game could have been, and should have been a stand out for Creative Assembly as thee fantasy Total War experience. On launch this was a downgrade from WH2, as seen from the base game races quality and lack of creativity, scant tech and skill trees and a campaign that made more people leave the game than play it. Immortal Empires came and warmly stroked us with an idea of what could be, but was laden with bugs, and bugs remaining from launch and bugs from updates that were supposed to kill the bugs. It's been a year and a half, and this story has not really changed. It has gotten better, but patches actively break more than they fix, and then the patch for the patch lies about patching the bug. The approach and attitude is fairly disgusting from the company, where it's the players fault for lack of patience for the 3 patches you'll get a year.

This game requires monthly patches, and the remaining dev team simply aren't able to do that amount of work. This game has issues still from launch, and needs to address these and the old content, to get it up to a quality like some of the newer additions which are good. The attitude seems to be sliding to doing less and less for more and more money from the consumer. Modders have done a better job at keeping the game updated with fixes more regularly which is great for us from modders, but never an excuse from the company. I really loved WH2, but CA's current trajectory is not to improve, or to fix a sold item, or even offer pittance in light of the company's failings.
