This is great, have not played in a while but still one of the best games! Just doing this for steam awards, still would write a better one if I had more time. Still play this and experience it, the lore runs deep and you have to hunt it down. Cannot wait for next expansion.

We beat the corpo rats trying to make the game limited, but honestly this game makes you enjoy going to hell and back. War, war never changes... It just gets more brutal, and your just a cog in the grand machinery that is war. Honestly this game runs great and plays as intended, leaps and bounds ahead of Destiny 2 and Warframe. Anthem wishes it could be this game, despite the slight resurgence of that one. Plus there is great camaraderie amongst the community. Highly recommended, especially if your a fan of Starship Troopers which this pays strong homage to.

This game is a piece of gaming history and this update makes it well worth playing again, for a game that is right up there with Doom and others for forming the foundation of modern FPS games it excels still. Given technology has advanced well beyond it's day it holds up graphically and quite well story wise as well as controls. I remember when this came out I could not play it, my system was not up to par. Honestly this game is one that is an easy 10/10, if you want to know one of the building blocks for todays FPS play this. Yes it is has its issues but the code for this is old, they just put a new shine on it.

This is what a remaster should be, this game is a classic and was excellent in every regard. Mind you I am a SMT fan, and I enjoy everything in the franchise. I've even watched the anime's in japanese with english subs, so overall I would say yes this is worth it as it's a classic from the days of the excellent PS2 JRPG's and nowadays they do not make games like this anymore for quality and excellence in storytelling. Some may get frustrated at how vague hints are, but really the goal is to explore as you go along and get stronger. So if you want to know what a solid RPG is play this!

I used to own this and then deleted it from my library, IF Codehatch did what they could to have made this a good game and put in effective means to counter hackers then yes. Overall I DO NOT reccomend this one at all, like I said I was gifted it years ago and played it a lot. I got sick of the hackers, cheaters, etc as one literally walked up to me naked and took me out one shot then when I called them out got petty. So avoid this toxic wasteland of a game at all costs, it should be delisted in steam because it is effectively abandoned by the scam artist devs.

DMZ may be fun, but this is so limited if your not paying in. Now adding on top of the normal paid battle pass, they have premier battle passes. Battle pass systems can go away please, or make everyone able to access it all without paywalling the good stuff. This could have been better than it is, however predatory monetization and cheaters galore who do not get punished ruin it. Save yourself some time, and if you like this kind of game ok it is up to you. I would not reccomend supporting an unethical company, I do hope the microsoft acquisition happens. I used to play it, but now i will not touch it anymore. It's back to FF14 for me, where I pay less than their premium battlepass a month on two month cards.

The good, the bad, and the nostalgia fuelled flaws....

This game is a great redo of one of the better post gold box, and post 2nd edition D&D games. Graphics are polished, game play is smooth, and the charm of the original is intact to the core. It has a solid story that has a good progression, without losing any elements and quests. The graphical redo keeps the look of the game and cleans it up well. So overall this game is amazing for an enhanced version, Beamdog keeps quality high.

However there is some ugly from the original game, from the horrendous die rolls that favor the AI and often screw the player. The lack of adherence to core rules for AI enemies is downright hideous, unarmored AC is not even taken into consideration. An unarmored PC or NPC is 10+/- dex mod, yet for an escaped sorcerer it acts like they have a +5 dex mod which is not possible and they are not listed as having mage armor. The die rolls favor the AI and often give you the player bad rolls, which is a hallmark of a poorly designed and coded die system. These are flaws of the original which add to the charm of the game for us nostalgic types, as well as frustration and srtuggle.

Overall YES this game is worth it even today if you want an old school single player CRPG blast from the past. In this age of everything going live service or multiplayer focused single player is still alive and well, as well as wanted. Games like this have that feel of the older days of RPG's where the challenge was higher and the rewards were greater in areas lacking today. Story rich, compelling characters, proper reactions and moral consequences to your actions. Why can't we have games like this anymore? Because todays players are too soft and need their hand held too often, they cannot handle challenge as well as having to deal with a game that is out to kill the player with a vengeance.

So despite flaws this is a solid 10/10!

This game is a prime example of a good idea executed well, it has a lot of potential that as long as the company does it right they can make a great game. This is a seamless blend of Diablo and Valheim, the combat is fluid and seamless like a great ARPG. The building element is challenging and fun, and how it progresses can be tough at times but it is like any survival game. The skill and power mechanics of having to defeat world bosses is a very nice touch and encourages groups to hunt them all down, the list is long too. Overall this game finds it's niche and fills it well, as long as the company keeps up this quality they have a good future for V Rising. Graphics are also good, and you do not need a massively high end system to run it. So yes I say get this game, dive in, and ENJOY!

This game is dead, have phase 2 beta a go and I could not ready up for Harvest mode because it insisted on a controller. Graphics are fairly nice now, but gameplay is well bland and feels dated. Music is like some low grade wannabe cyberpunk music, and the lootboxes are well kinda greedy looking on the developer. Overall if this game was not so devoid of life and just plain boring I could reccomend it. However from last I played the game still does not feel like a game worth buying even on sale. Save your money and go buy something with more meat on its bones, better game play, and people to play with.

OK< this will be a simple review and this is going to be very very to the point. FUN game with friends, very entertaining and shows you who are the sneakier people you know. Graphics are simple but clean, and the game barely takes any space on a drive. It also can run on lower end systems it seems. Overall I give this game a 10/10 and MUST play! This game is so much fun to play with streamers too. It makes for a fun viewing.
