Is it fun? Yes, but toxic children lobbies are like 1/2 the games. If you know how to play your character and can get a proper team going it's really good.

Downsides

-Heroes are bugged on some abilities like collision issues in certain areas of the map

Haven't had any issues with any memory leaks or crashing like some people have reported.

game of the decade imho

fun simplistic timing based combat style that awards players well if they stick with specific characters. if you try to multicharacter you will have a slightly harder time outside duels. overrall fantastic game.

So many options. I feel like this game has a bit of a downfall in that I've been able to kill so many higher level bosses and ignored some key areas. At the same time, I go back to these 'low level' areas and then can still get my ass kicked from time to time. As someone who played Ds1 and ds3, but never finished; I feel like they really gave this word a real feel of abundance compared to the other titles. You will still have to deal with the same trials and tribulations as past souls games, but will be able to do so more at your own pace. You can grind certain spots to gain levels to your own avail and ultimately still hate to see your character topple even in the most normally 1-sided circumstances. I am looking more forward to actually beating this game then trying the + version after you beat it again, but I feel like that's a long way coming. I'm a hardcore gamer, but this game kicks my ass in all the right ways. Makes me question if I'm even that 'hardcore' anymore or maybe I'm just old. Either way, it's a fun, but at times frustrating game. It's hard to beat for the right reasons.

It's actually a better game now than it was before it began, but the unfortunate thing is the community has continuously ruined it. Bots and hackers are still abound and the unfortunate thing is that there's nothing the devs will do about it at this point. Another unfortunate thing is that they took the steam marketplace out of it which was where people could actually play this game and make money from crates like CS:GO
