Objectives can be missed, but are clear in the text chat once you complete something of significance. That's about my only gripe about this game.

One of my favorite parts was being able to bring your character between worlds. You could have one Crimson world, one Corruption world and have the same character visit both of them to fight the bosses. You can choose to keep them both going at the same pace - or leave one out of hardmode entirely. This is especially nice due to the structures and items not having a guarantee spawn in every world.

The boss fights are particularly fun. Some start to become bullet hells, especially in the harder difficulty worlds, but if you find a strategy they all become pretty simple and enjoyable. The arena building is nice as you can choose to do all of them the same, or change it up depending on what you're fighting and where. Build crafting also really helps out your boss fights as there's a whole bunch of combinations and possibilities to mix and match when it comes to weapons and accessories.

Finding pets, mounts and collecting everything that I could was also really fun. Unfortunately I didn't save my worlds to the cloud, so when I got a new PC they were gone, but I'd gladly start again and run through it all!

I used to play this game in middle school and I never really stopped. Got around to making my first 'ironman' account when they client came to steam. A solid point and click MMORPG that has something for anyone that enjoys MMOs. The quest really stand out from other RPGs as they carry the early game, keeping you engaged and learning about the world while getting your stats to a decent spot to start wandering on your own.
The bossing is particularly fun as well. Earlier bosses feel like they help you get the hang of comboing abilities and later game bosses really test you ability usage and management.
The various skills really kept me entertained as well. If I got sick of something, there was a bunch of other things I could jump over to.

The only couple things I have to say negatively is the microtransactions are very aggressive, even moreso once you start paying for the monthly membership, and the treasure hunter bit feels like another aggressive gambling system with the way it flaunts good gear and a lot of gold in your face when you run out of keys.
The other thing is that I would recommend using the Jagex launcher instead of the Steam client. Having multiple accounts is easier there and just feels more secure overall.

Very good game though. Enjoyed all the hours I've put into it and happy to put in a ton more!

Would highly recommend to anyone. Very fun game to just relax to. Achievements and goals are laid out on the unlocks screen and you can be as creative as you want with your weapon and item builds. Always a blast to just zone out after work or late at night and see how broken you can make a character.

As much as I enjoyed playing this game as it went through its stages, I cannot recommend someone new to start playing. The game is a massive money sink that only truly cares if you stick around as a casual player that is willing to spend their paycheck on emotes and cosmetic whatnot's. It's one of the best feeling shooters out there, ruined by the dying live service micro transaction motto of Shareholders > Consumers.

Would definitely recommend to anyone that's a fan of the souls series as well as open world games. You can choose how you play, whether that's with people, alone or with Summoning Bell Summons. If a boss is giving you too much trouble, there's a massive world to explore and level up in and revisit later. The crafting is easily glossed over, but well worth it if you're okay with farming a bit of resources.

Some of the most fun I've had in a Fromsoft game when it comes to build crafting and PvP as well!
