Pros:
-over all good graphics
-nice storyline
-enough side events that can be played when you don't want to play the story
-npc AI makes it fun to drive around since they give up their right of way all the time
-over all fun to play

cons:
-drifting is weird
-stones and guardrails are impregnable obstacles (with guardrail barriers being extended into the sky)
-annoying cutscenes at the beginning of races that cant be skipped when retrying
-characters mostly speak in stupid, unrealistic and annoying "punchlines" (for e.g Mac)
-chase missions are badly desgined since cops come after you for the entirety of the mission but suddenly just disappear as you approach the escape point
-enemy racer AI uses N2O at the exact timing as you do, making it impossible or very hard to overtake them if you don't focus on buffing N2O on your car
-false sense of open world map (it's not too much of a problem but it would be great if one could explore the map)

conclusion:

An over all good game that is fun to play. There are small flaws that, if they were to be removed, would make the game much more enjoyable.

Community is toxic as hell, champions are unbalanced, maps are repetetive (constantly getting bazaar [worst designed map imo]), way too many bugs. Since noone plays ranked, casual is full of tryhards. You mostly get punished for playing a proper 2 tank, support, flank, damage lineup by an enemy team consisting of 4 damagers and maeve.

Valve just does not care about people that ruin the game. Too many cheaters, smurfs, griefer.
