Kingdom in 30 seconds

The nigh is dark and full of terrors. So by day, MAKE IT RAIN! and use your riches to buy peasent’s allegiance and give them the tools to build the dandiest kingdom of all!

The perfect mix between hard and fun. It’s all about the coin - spend it wisely balancing between defense and perks, because every night you will be attacked by annoying creepy-crawleys set on undoing all your accomplishments.

You will die again and again but you will learn something every time you fail. Only the end game stalls a bit, but not enough to stain this awesome and beautiful minimalistic experience.

Evoland 2 Review in 30Seconds

Evoland is back with a vengeance. This RPG inspired mashup goes beyond space and time to mix a ton of different styles from different eras in the history of gaming.

The story is complex and builds up as the game itself evolves in a very literal way. Funny dialogue and references to the pop icons of gaming make it even more entertaining and easy to follow.

There’s space-shooting, platforming, 2D fighting and a lot more. And yet, they somehow blend perfectly together.

Dungeon Souls Review in 30 Seconds

This rogue like hack & slash is, so far, our personal bet for best indie of the year.

Revive one of 6 dead heroes, each with unique skills and primary attacks. In every random generated level you must unlock a portal to progress by activating special marks, and also farm enough to manage to beat the bosses. But watch out for the time limit, or you might be done for.

The most awesome feature of all is picking up random items stack up, just like in Risk Of Rain. And with that, this game managed to stack 9 chests out of 10.

Rememoried Review in 30 Seconds
https://youtu.be/3HwwDkx0LrI

A surrealist exploration puzzle game where to advance you have to forget. Layers upon layers of dreams and jumbled memories build this stunning dreamscape that goes hand in hand with great music and nice voice acting. In each level you must fulfill a hidden goal that’s only hinted at by the narrator and the scenery itself.

The creative mechanics makes it so that sometimes you must look away from the goal to be able to see it. Sometimes it’s confusing, but so are dreams. Always changing yet still repetitive at times.

Curses 'N Chaos Review in 30 Seconds
https://youtu.be/_eO98h-Ho-I

You’re under Thanatos’s Shadow and there’s only one way to break the curse. Killing monsters.

Play solo or with friends in this classic single-screen arcade beat-em-up. Punch, jump and use special items dropped by mobs. With only one slot, you either use it as soon as you can or give it to an owl friend to keep. Between stages, you can mix different items giving the game a touch of original complexity.

Lacks on replayability, but you’ll have a hard time completing it anyway. Nice graphics and the amazing sound is the sugar coating that makes us give this

Aaaaw yeah! We wish sports would be as cool as this in real life. Soccer with ridiculous cars in a sci-fi setting. And it’s soooo much fun.

And yet, it’s not easy to master. There’s really a lot of skill envolved and the learning curve is a ♥♥♥♥♥. Jump, backflip, defy gravity and try to score a goal, all with split-second decision making. But when you get the hand of it, it’s really rewarding.

Car costumization is way more richer than needed to be, but makes collecting stuff enternaining and addicting.

Submerged Review in 30 Seconds

A girl seeks a way to save her brother in a flooded world. To do that, she must explore a desolate yet beautiful city by climbing buildings and collecting survival crates.

Great premise… terrible execution. Buildings are repetitive, mechanics are dull and it’s just plain boring. Do the same thing over and over again and do it slowly. The backstory however is pieced together in a creative way, with scattered pictograms you collect that let’s you know what happened to your family and the world.

But even though it looks good, 10 minutes is enough to see everything there is to see.

Victor Vran Review in 30 Seconds

This ain’t a simple Diablo ripoff. Instead of class picking, this Action RPG focuses on primary and secondary weapons and each one you use has it’s own skills. And you can jump and parkour, which is a nice new addition.

But that’s the basics - there’s so many more elements that make it richer. Demonic powers, drinkables, throwables, perk cards and buffed clothing are tied with a simple crafting system that makes costumization truly addicting.

The storyline is not very creative, but the funny narrator will keep you entertained.

Sky Rogue Review in 30Seconds

Pretty but deadly. Don’t let the retro low poly style fool you - this flight battle simulator is hard as hell. Die and you start from scratch, losing all progress and weapons.

So be careful, Maverick. Pick your plane and weapons of choice to complete each mission. The more you play, the more options you have, with up to 4 weapon slots to kill those air bastards. So dodge and destroy through these procedurally-generated islands.

The enemy AI is very well done, filling the gameplay with tension and true challenging fun.

Reflections Review in 30Seconds

You’re going away to college and your future is still to be written. Well, in this case, painted. In this story telling adventure game, every time you interact with a person or object, it colorizes itself.

This is a genius life metaphor where Action and reaction become a visual effect that shows you how every interaction affects your destiny. Choices lead to different paths, and by the end you see how many life options you’ve unlocked.

That being said, there aren’t a lot of objects to interact with. But that’s life.
