This game is almost deeper than life for how little disk space it takes up. Gigantic respect for the sole dev, Billy Basso!

Anyways, it had been an honor witnessing the growth and birth of this highly unique title. Even if you aren't a platformer like me, I highly recommend you try this one out, a piece of wonder that will forever be mentioned in the annals of videogames for sure. Cannot say much more, don't wanna spoil anything for anyone game-wise, it is riddled with mysteries in every corner (and I'm not exaggerating) while being very compact in exposition and discoveries of new game mechanics and challenges.

Spaghetti and meatballs.

Despite everything I'll write just know that I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loved this game. I'd recommend it to any one somewhat apt at games.

-great music, absolutely classic east asian style properly themed to respective bosses.
-absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gorgeous setting, would make angels cry and demons become human.
-superb controls. Responsive, impactful, fast and smooth.
-awesome writing. Poetical, drammatic and fantastic.
-as expected from anything with Japanese making it... AMAZING DETAILS
-awesome combat mechanic, not the most deep one but hell if it's satisfying

...Finally a modern graphics non-mmo game that scratches the ancient Japanese(and some actually Chinese) cultures and making it a master piece for the contemporary popular gaming community.

Game is however a bit too easy after 1st play through, maybe it's just me. Even with modifiers.
1st playthrough almost 50 hours, second... 5 hrs and third and fourth 2 hrs

Some Items/prosthetics are a bit too OP and other are completely useless.

NO PVP. NO CO-OP is sad, even though it would seem from the currently existing interactions/mechanics that co-op could have been easily implemented.

i give it a 8.7/10

Played 11 hours in a day after launch definitely tells how good a game that has been in production for 10 years is.
The least favorite thing you wanna go through, is hating the process of warming up to a new RPG game when you start from zero. When a gigantic game that hits you with unique mechanics, tens of characters, expansive lore, hundreds of items and names to learn at basically the first hour of the game. You really don't wanna ask yourself if you'd actually ever get into it especailly not after you've downloaded 80GB worth of data into your computer.

With FFXV you have none of that. You start the game and you love it. Your new classic goosebumping Final Fantasy style menu with music makes you literally wanna cry before you even start the first chapter.
Great tutorial with a basic lore learning section, the characters start out strong and relatable, the story is engaging and well paced with depth and lots of perspectives as per usual a WELL WRITTEN ff game, the setting is stunning, the fighting is mechanically rewarding and exciting, hundreds of powerups/perks/skills to invest into, visuals are next gen eyegasmic, DLCs that dive into more actors stories and multiplayer mode....... What's more to ask? SRSLY for 50bucks this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ steal nowadays.

Also the english voice acting is surprisingly good. I was ready to cringe so hard knowing this is a FF game that are known for alot of Japanization with cliche characters and one-dimensional personalities. But I didn't meet those and didn't cringe at all. I loved each interaction and already more character development in the first 10 hourst than Bleach has ever had XD. Plus the record realistic facial expressions you have IN GAME, a video game has never before been more alive like FFXV, IN GAME. What can I say, there is so much more to say and I'll just leave that for you to discover yourself.

Also its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AMAZING HOW LITERALLY NO OTHER GAME BEFORE FFXV HAS HAD IN-GAME FACIAL EXPRESSIONS AS WELL DONE AND REALISTIC AS FFXV. LIKE WTF FINALFANTASY WILL SOON MAKE GAMES THAT HAS GRAPHICS AND REAL TIME INTERACTIONS LOOK LIKE THEIR CG CINEMATICS AND Y'ALL OTHER BIG GAME COMPANIES ARE STILL WONDERING HOW DID YOU END UP WITH ♥♥♥♥ LIKE ASS EFFECT ASSDROMEDA WITH ALL YOUR EMBEZZLED BUDGET STOLEN FUND AND WHATEVER FACIALMOTIONSCAN ♥♥♥♥ YOU

Return of a master piece of a game that is not just a game, but also an artwork.

After its rather disappointing nonetheless very fun predecessor Dark Souls II in my opinion that is. Dark Souls III returns with a most visually and structurally fitting "dark souls environment". Music that is eargasmic to those that appreciate not just the fight but the drama that is every Dark Souls Boss fight and the moment they press load game in the title screen.
I had to put the Dark Souls before the word boss, because Dark Souls Bosses are second to none to anyother game in its genre. Dark Souls III brings back in fact again, the enemies design that is what the real Souls admirers really want. Not just their combat mechanics and difficulty but above all, the feeling that each battle create that is the resulting essence of an astonishing collage of goose-bumping orchestra, setting, sound effects, amazing voice acting, and definitely Souls worthy designs that are not just simply fear-inducing but also beautifully depressing for their back-stories and the significance of these un-avoidable conflicts.
The progressionin a world that is well platformed definitely comparable to that of DSI and intricate enough to feel engaged at all times. For an instance you could see end-game places from one of the starting areas.
Returning weapons and armors from previous titles along with brand new fashion souls that are 10/10 would wear again. Countless possibility for varied combat styles suitable for anyone. Weapons that are the most different from each-other we've ever seen before.

Online interaction in DSIII is not perfect as of now, nevertheless very active and definitely worth 3 to 9 folds the money after a few patches. In fact as of now, my DSIII is getting patched to 1.07 which will introduce balancing of weapons, improvement of online matchmakings etc...

To put everything down in a form that reflects my most accurate feelings would be too much to read. So tl;rd

+Music (yes the music is tearing and shattering)
+Astonishing Setting
+Well designed bosses
+Combat mechanics
+Challenging
+Obscure in a way that is interesting and engaging
+Great Lore, very well connected to previous titles
+Replay-value 11/10
+Strategic, very rewarding to cunning players
+thematically speaking it's perfect both consistent and varied in a way that still sticks to the Souls theme, throughout the entire game

-PvP not friendly for casuals/new players
-Covenants don't work as efficiently as intended yet
-Main story might be short (~35hrs) if you don't take your time to explore everything which is the right thing to do
-Very frustrating and punishing for players that don't adapt efficiently to a rather required unique mind-set, even for veterans
-Can't be invaded after the defeat of area boss
-Glitches and bugs are often exploitable for unfrai advantages (will be patched)
-Hackers (not so many here in EU though I must say)
