As someone with 12k hours in the game and who is in the 1% of players, I can say this game, so far, is a tragic attempt of capturing what was good about CSGO and porting it to the Source 2 Engine. VALVE have deliberately chosen to use subtick to confuse the casual community and to alienate the hardcore, top players who know that 128 tick servers were the gold standard.
