Terrible iOS port, lazy. Years later launcher still broken, unable to change keybinds.

The game itself is very fun. Complex job system, similar to FFIII, by end game you'll probably have 3 or so jobs maxed, so lots of experimentation and switching things around is fine. Very fun game and definitely one of the hardest FF games.

If you're ok with a dumb ass iOS menu taking up the whole screen and these weird sprites, or if you've never played it before, get it.

If you've played it before, or have a version on Gameboy or something already, skip this one.

If you have dual monitors prepare to be pissed off, this ♥♥♥♥ makes no sense, it takes 30 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ seconds to get to the options screen, only for the options not to work like they're supposed to. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unacceptable

87 hours in I strongly recommend this game for fans of action RPG's.

It's not very similar to Dark Souls, surface level maybe, but all the systems, story telling, gearing, combat, etc all work differently. It's mission based, no open world, gear is like Diablo.

You get high mid and low stance with each weapon so lots of moves, it's lots of fun.
You can new abilities for your weapons, magic, and ninjutsu.

You can clear the levels in multiple ways, you can do ranged combat (one shot headshot), stealth kills with ninjutsu, buff and debuffs with magic. So much customization and there isn't just a meta build like in Dark Souls (Quality Build). You have many different stats and weapons scale with at least 3 of your main stats.

The story is cool, it's like if you took Japanese history and added in spirits and magic. I think it's actually correctly historic. Oda Nobunaga is a big character in the story. If you've watched a lot of anime you probably at least know who he is.

There are multiple difficulties you unlock as you clear through the story, included DLC, and level up. They don't just have the same missions, it seems they add challenge ones as well (like fighting 3 bosses at once, oh boy)

10/10 game. After you get hit BLOCK, blocking is good in this game.
If you're a Dark Souls player you'll have a reflex to roll a lot, usually better to block if you've been hit once or you'll just get comboed

(I have a 3 series i5 and a 970, some areas of the game the fps drops, quite annoying)

Great game, Dark Souls story presentation style. Really fun metroidvania 2D platformer. One of my favourite games now

Amazing game, definitely worth the sale price.

Open world, lots of upgrades, cool cutscenes, fun puzzles, Lara is hot etc

Combat is horrible imo, on the hardest difficulty you can one shot everyone once you have a revolver or bolt action gun or upgrade the damage on your bow a bit. I honestly wish they took the waste of time combat out and made it just a platformer / adventure.

Solid 7 or 8 out of 10
