After about 2 hours of gameplay you will ecnounter the final boss which is laughably easy. After you kill him there is nothing left to do in the game, you can just infinitely keep buying the same cards without any real goal.

Pretty fun, but after you beat it once (which can be done in under four or five hours) there isn't really a whole lot to do in your next playthroughs.

Easily one of the most engaging strategy games I have played, however, I simply cannot recommend it because of the Paradox DLC politic.

Basicaly, if you buy the base game (which, unless you get it on sale, isn't eaxactly the cheapest) you get pretty much just a barebones version of the game, you will be teased on literally every corner by possible DLC options.

Perhaps the worst thing is that some functions, which should easily be in the base game are locked behind a paywall. I'm talking about things like a character creator, some options to control you armies (yes, you have to pay up to have easier controls) or certain factions. When setting up your game you will have a bunch of countries and empires, which are on the map and will be in your game, but you can't play them unless you get an overpriced DLC.

If you can get it with the most important exapnsions on sale, then its a pretty good deal. Otherwise don't bother.
