I recently found my favorite ending.[spoilers] It turns out the outsider gives a happy monologue about how you acted as a spirit of pure avenges and chaos. He was delighted that I toppled a government and killed everyone in my path. It's the best ending? The outsider sounds genuinely delighted with what you've done and after the amount of times my co conspirators turned on me it was quite satisfying getting to kill each and every one of them. You have to let Emily die though, but ♥♥♥♥ it she's annoying. [spoilers]

First things first my Steam account is a lie. I have probably spent at least 100 hours in DD2. My profile name(in game) is Luffy D Monkey and I am a pirate. I recently realized this game only has 76% positive reviews and 1/10 as many reviews as the original. So I’m here to show my support because having played DD this is everything I wanted, as a matter of fact I think it's the purest and best sequel to a game I’ve ever played. Everything that was good in darkest dungeon is here and better everything that sucked is gone. I really like this game its the original but better in every way, the only MAJOR change is a good one. The campaign is no longer one campaign, you are now the manager sending many dozens of expeditions in towards the mountain, not the leader of a singular long campaign. I love it, the thing I hated in the original was that I got 10 hours in and the game just wiped my progress. Now every time you sit down it's a new campaign when I lose its aaaw shucks how many candles did I get? Not MOTHER ♥♥♥♥♥♥ MY GODAMN HEALER JUST DIED GODAMNIT THERES NO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HEALERS AT THE TOWN IMA DIE! So yeah the critical consensus isn't great but personally I feel like the game dev personally listened to the things I yelled at my monitor playing the original and I love the sequel. Cant wait to see what Red Hook makes next, but if they decide to be like the guy who made the binding of Issac and just keep slowly adding new amazingly balanced regions till they die that is also fine.

I'm a long time TOS player and this sequel is just bad. it adds very little and has no mobile support, I highly recommend the original. sadly this game has also split the TOS community, many new players play the game that's a worse product with a worse community. it divided the player base of a community that was already dwindling. Its just a bad game.

Is it just me or is SEGA getting really good at pandering to us lately? Sonic Mania, frontiers and this oddball. This game is exactly what the fan base wanted. So SEGA just gave it to us for free?! if your listening SEGA we want the Chao Garden back!

Great game, I'm about to install some mods which I just found out about and replay this a third time!

I really appreciate that edge runners reminded me that I wanted to come back to this game when it was... functional

We're 1% shy of having overwhelmingly positive reviews. Lets all say a silent prayer for the sequel which has been in development hell for man years.

Early access or live service software? I do not recall us being told that this was going to be early access when it came out. May just be I didn't follow it closely, but development time was too long before it was released into early access. I don't even dislike the game I just prefer to play games when there finished and I'd like to know is this early access or live service software?

Yo mark think I could get into that beta test starting this week I just got my wisdom teeth out and it seems fun.
