Really not worth even this low a price. It's like the Binding of Isaac with no skill involved. In the Binding of Isaac you can beat the game without any upgrades so long a you're skilled enough. Not in this game, get your DPS up with an upgrade if you want to survive the endless horde. And whatever upgrade you get depends on luck. You didn't get the upgrade that beats the game for you? press the play button again until RNG grants you god-like power

I haven't played it for 150 hours. My playtime is that high because some part of the application still runs if you close out the game. So that ran in the background for a week. Totally not a really good strategy for a developer to artificially increase the playtime of a game they release on steam.

Fantastic game! Unfortunately its ruined by its save system. It cant reliably save games. About 30% of the time the save will corrupt and your save-file becomes a black screen that says "loading monsters". I've played dozens of characters on my few hours and out of all of them only two made it anywhere near the mega-city or whatever it is (one of them just needed to make the short walk from the camp i set up a few dozen tiles away (and had a couple thousand bucks of loot to sell)). Those two runs made up the bulk of my playtime and they both ended the same way. I had to get up and go do something, so I clicked save and quit. Came back, try and load up my save. And i get "loading monsters".

My game is vanilla, no mods no nothing, freshly installed. Games that have save mechanics and are being sold after the 2000's should have a functioning save system, or they should not be sold. I don't care if it's programmed in flash. hire someone, fuggin figure it out. I feel scammed

Such a shame too. Because it is a great game. Reallly really good. But i cant have fun with it this way. Maybe you can treat it like an NES game, hard as nails and no saving and have fun with that, but i cant.
