I don't vibe with it as much as my goat Persona 3, but it's a great game. Great cast of characters. Way too easy even on Merciless, so that's the difficulty I recommend. Palaces are a cool concept for dungeons.

I am a diehard SMT/Persona fan, and Persona 3 is my favorite game of all time(still own my PS2 copy of OG/FES plus the artbook from way back when). I was super hype for this remake. The presentation is the best I've ever seen in a game, it really is incredible how much they've expanded the game's visuals and atmosphere with modern hardware while respecting the original material and design. I cannot stand the new voice acting and soundtrack, but at least you can mod in the original soundtrack which is amazing and fits the game perfectly, especially this remake. Overall, I don't think Reload replaces the vibe and dark atmosphere/charm of the original, but Reload is really a great homage to a classic RPG and I'm glad this series/game has gotten more love, fanart, and appreciation through this remake. 17 years later, Yukari is still best girl.

Aside from the technical issues, it's just not NMRIH. Heroes and other trend chasing choices were bad choices. Watering down ammo to 3 generic types was a bad choice.

The most intense PVE game I've ever played. Phenomenal with friends, but expect to sweat a little.
