Blender 4.2's new shadow system ruined all the texture and shadow settings that I have spent months on perfecting for my own theme, which meant it ruined everything, my characters, props, doesn't correlate well with the scenes anymore because the shadow is much worse and grainy even with all the settings tweaked to simulate the much better and simple shadows of the previous version. 7 years I've used Blender, this is the first time an update breaks me and rendering the software unsuitable for my projects. I don't recommend a software that cannot maintain the consistency of such major visual factor. I recommend people who just want to simply make simple 3D models and scenes without overtly complex lighting to use standalone version of Blender 4.1 or versions before Blender 4.0. Don't use Blender through Steam version for the new updates has been increasingly distasteful.

It's great for people who enjoys micro managing, you could lost time in this game placing everything right and then managing the staff in the bigger maps. Currently it needs a better identification method between the different staff teams, flexibility of selecting and then managing single staff members and some crowd ambient noise when the stage is empty. Nice art style, nice soundtracks and a very big potential for improvements in the future.

Defiance, I never really know the tv show, I don't really dedicate my time playing the game. But it is one of the first mmorpg that i play, specifically a sci fi one. I play Defiance sporadically in some months, riding my atv everywhere from the camp area to high level areas, just to see the view. I've left the game for years but the art style of the game is somehow got planted in my head and since has affected of how I make my scifi arts and models and pretty much became the first inspiration for my personal scifi artstyle. Today I'm returning and playing it for it's end days, at the same time I will be returning Cass' truck (never really finished the mission because I like the truck :p). A short time knowing Defiance, yet it affects me in a long term.

Just finished playing it to it's last seconds, at the end it's a great game. :")

Greatest MMORPG game i ever played. I became level 30 in one week and have 5 ships. The game is easy and hard, like balanced.
