This game really shines with a group of friends. There is no feeling like baiting your teammate to get eaten by a monster while you're filming him and another teammate is dancing next to him for extra views. TikTok who?
The more content the dev team puts into it, the better it will become.

Story is short and sweet, filled with ups and down and a genuine plotwist near the end. Gameplay, while simple in the surface, has alot to offer to those that want to invest some time into it.
DLC's are worth a playthrough, especially if you buy them during sales. They introduce a side-character and some new mechanics.

Game is a clear downgrade from the first game, bar from graphics.
From the get-go, while the first game was perfectly playable and enjoyable both with a controller and a kb, the 2nd game has complete levels dedicated to analog stick movement, something a mouse cannot reproduce, making those of us that happen to not have a PC controller hate our lives for half the game.
LN1 played and run perfectly, so those, understandably, were my expectations for LN2. Yet I wes softlocked more than once, forcing me to restart the levels, and the game crashed more tiems than I can justify. (LN1 crashed 0 times).
Story, without getting into spoilers, is not only mediocre, but also filled with holes that a sponge would be jealous of. Levels are filled with "gotcha" traps, insta killing you and indirectly telling you how to play the game/not go that way, like a 2005 rogue-like (this is not a good thing for anyone wondering).
The actual gameplay is horrible, and an insult to whoever made the previous game. Everything is laggy, hitboxes are random (it seems), model and prop clipping feels like it was intentionally made to ♥♥♥♥ you over.
Timing and animation based attacks are ALOT more prevalent here than in the first game, a half-arsed attempt at a konami-developped darksouls.
The overall feeling is that the studio wanted to make the game feel "creepier" with music/ visual choices, sprinkled in with average to bad jumpscares. Yet it isnt a horror game, so the end product plays like 2 different games at the same time. half of it is a puzzle game, and the rest is ""horror"".

If Garfield Kart - Furious Racing has a million fans, then I am one of them.
If Garfield Kart - Furious Racing has ten fans, then I am one of them.
If Garfield Kart - Furious Racing has only one fan then that is me.
If Garfield Kart - Furious Racing has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth.
If the World is against Garfield Kart - Furious Racing, then I am against the World.

It's a casual city planning simulation game. The graphics are beautiful, the music is very fitting and the atmosphere of the game is great for long hour session of building tiny islands with platforms. It doesnt have big depth, in 10-15 hours you will have seen everything the game has to offer, but the acheivements do add an extra challenge. Overall a solid 8/10 game, definitely worth your money

As far as content goes, its at a good place right now. But I cant look past the awful optimization, the bad movement ,the frequent bugs that plague this game right now. For 20 bucks on sale there are some gems out there for you to buy. But as soon as they adress the issues, the game is a solid 7/10, and I'll change my review.

Arguably the worst way to waste 68Mb of my 1TB hard drive.

Early Access Review
Very good game overall.
+ :Nice atmosphere, kinda nostalgic (brings back nintendo memories), and very entertaining, also due to the fast-paced style.
- :Few op characters (e.g. shang), and sort-of-broken-but-not-really balance system in casual, but its in early access people. Stuff like that are expected.

The only thing not beta related is that, IF you dont play with friends/people you know, it kinda gets repetitive after awhile. Not positive, not negative, just something i felt during playing.

Of course with workshops/updates/final release this will change ,but as of know this my 2 cents.
