Ok. Let me start off by saying that this game was Reccomended to me by a friend, but I never really had time to play it back then.
When Covid Swung around I had more time to start playing more and more games, and eventually, I got around to this Gem of a game.
The download, Isn't that big, Which for me is a blessing, I love having many options to play around with.
You have four classes, Engineer, Gunner, Driller and Scout. Each class plays a unique role, But you Don't really NEED to have all four classes to have fun.
Each Mission is Procedurally generated, and the environment is 100 percent destructable. Think Warframe and diablo, How they use Tile sets to form their levels, and randomize them, This does it, In my opinion, Better. You can have any assortment of tunnels or giant rooms, to flat out bottomless pits with thin land bridges spanning them. The enemy assortments are decent, But its only when the game decides to really Play with your emotions that it starts spawning the... Bigger, enemies. Sometimes, You'll be saved the games cruel attention span with one, Othertimes, You'll have three or four.
The character customization allows your dwarf to be Unique to you, With lost loot scattered around some levels, you can customize them even further. Oh, Did I forget to mention, We play as Dwarves? Rock and Stone!

The gameplay itself I can consider to be a Horde-type PVE experience, Similar to Games like Payday and Left for Dead. You play in first person, Which doesn't really limit your view, as most cases, You'll be staring down a moving wall of Bugs.
The environments are diverse, and Quite pretty, Its nice to take it all in when the Swarm isn't Breathing down your back.

The Mission types are rotated through the planets surface, so you may encounter the same mission type in the same region, Other times, You won't.

The Developers recently released a Season, Rival Incursion, FOR FREE! These guys are crazy, But I tip my hat to them. Even without the season, This game is an absolute blast, and I'm excited to see what they do next!

You can play a mission with up to three other people, Or Solo, Both equally optimized for playing, which is something that I find rare, nowadays. In Solo Play, You get a trusty little robot named Bosco, and Bosco is quite useful for a flying tin can. (Be sure to salute him for a job well done.)

Each class has a Bevvy of Weapons that they can unlock and (Buy) Request a License for from management after completing their Approval assignment. Each weapon can be upgraded to fit a individuals personal Preference, and even upgraded further with Overclocks, Mods that boost or reduce the stats of a weapon.

Speaking of Mods, This game has Modding support! It supports both official and Unnoficial mods, and while I personally haven't touched the modding section (yet.), I've heard good things about it.

In terms of the community, Its a great one. I've yet to run a co-op mission where I haven't had a bad experience with other players. You load in, and Its almost instinctive to begin working with one another.

Learning the game is pretty simple, Its easy to pick up, and the experience only grows the more you play.

In my opinion, Even if you don't have a group of friends to play this with, Get it. You will not regret it.

Ok. Let me get straight to the point here. At first, when I started Yakuza, the control's on my Logitech controller were... Off, to me to say the least. The combat in the start was clunky, Getting used to the camera control's wasn't too hard, but it was irritable in the first few encounters. Then, I was truly introduced into the game. With Yakuza 0 Being my first in the Yakuza series, I sat down playing the game like it was just some other beat-em-up. But then I looked closer. The environment told its own story outside the Characters, and the way the npc's and random encounters were spaced out, it was truly incredible. 20 hours in, I'd been playing for a full day, Having missed a few odd Quests here and there, but the game made up for it by rewarding me with its increasing difficulty. Fighting the bosses was a challenge without equipment, and even with, It was still pretty damn fun, even though I was playing on Normal most of the way. As I approached the end of the game, I swapped it down to easy, to take in the last of the story, the final chapters of Kiryu, Nishiki, and Majima. Needless to say, after I finished Yakuza 0, I installed the next in the series, eager to play.

With a new game plus, a legend difficulty, and many quests still not done, Yakuza 0 is definitely one of the games I will be returning to, just so I can say that I've successfully 100% the game. Well done, Sega, You've got yourselves a real hidden treasure here. Next Yakuza game when?

Early Access Review
Its a game that you can meet all kinds of people in. Make new friends, and potentially new loves, or enemies.

never know, unless you load in.

Welcome to Vr Chat folks, Where the future of Humanity may very well lie.

This game is Mechanically very fun, and playing for overly extended periods of time can be enjoyable and surprisingly quick If you understand how your builds work.

Generally a very fun game, given how everything can be worked for in the game itself, and while you could buy the items, You are more rewarded for farming manually.

Although, I do have a gripe about the mastery lock system. While it makes sense that by playing the game manually, Certain items would be better off in certain areas, but The mastery lock system often encourages players to completely bypass quests and storylines all because of a MR lock, which I find to be quite deterring.

Nevertheless, It is a game I have recommeneded, and will continue to recommend.
