Great game that's really fun with friends. Realism aspect of the game makes for an intense gameplay that's engaging and doesn't feel unfair for the player.

Some negative aspects include the fact that some bots will hide themselves on the map. And because you need to kill all hostiles to fulfill the mission objectives, you might take a long time to find them, which adds to the occasional annoyance.

Just brilliant, take what's in D:OS 2 and turn it up ten notches and you get this masterpiece.

Great relaxing time lobbing off some heads with friends! Game does get a little stale at times since different weapons such as the Greatsword are locked off behind levels which have to be grind for, but overall it's great fun!

First of all, the gameplay is solid (so many sandbox interactions) and it's really fun especially with friends. However, I'll probably drop this game in the long term if multiple criticisms coming from the Halo community aren't addressed.

Off the top of my head;
1) Lack of individual playlists / gamemodes.
2) Lack of progression / customisation & greedy monetisation.
3) Lack of a lobby or all chat.
4) Lack of player collision.
5) Limited time for gamemodes that were present in prior Halos.
6) Lack of trackable stats.

Oh and also, the Plasma pistol is practically useless and vehicles feel way too light.

A masterpiece from FromSoftware once again. Combat is fluid and everything about it from the prosthetics to deflecting and countering is so damn satisfying. Seriously, you'll probably find combat in other games to be lacking once you complete this work of art. Art direction is brilliant and everything comes together so well.

Definitely worth a buy, hesitation is defeat! Ah, can't wait for Elden Ring.

A classic from FromSoftware, please give it a shot! A beautifully crafted world with well written lore if you dig into it online. Completed the game & all DLCs and frankly, I'm tempted to start NG+.

Although Dark Souls has a reputation for being hard, it's extremely rewarding and is satisfying once everything clicks. Boss fights are intimidating but really fun and there's a huge variety of enemies. Multiplayer is largely well implemented as well, and if it's too hard, there's also co-op available where you could summon a friend so fret not.

PS; Buy the DLCs!

At its core, Cyberpunk is a great open world action RPG with a meticulously crafted environment, and gameplay which feels fairly tight and good to immerse yourself in. There are multiple references and easter eggs, and most side-quests are unique, though not as well written as the ones in other titles like Witcher 3 or RDR2. Although fairly short, the main quest line is really well written. In terms of graphical fidelity, the game looks really good especially with everything on ultra including ray tracing, and DLSS (if you have an RTX card) is a plus.

The game at launch however, is plagued by a multitude of issues which could've been resolved had it been delayed for another year or so. It's really hard to get yourself immersed in its world when bug after bug comes looking for you, instead of you having to intentionally look for them, many of which could've been fixed had CDPR simply even play tested the game. Exploding debris, poor NPC & police AI, duplicate NPCs with repetitive one-liners, T-poses, broken status effects, texture glitches, poor vehicle destruction, non-existent vehicle AI, floating objects, quests breaking, you name it.

There's also a lot of performance issues with the game at launch as well as cut features such as character customisation which was heavily marketed prior to launch. (You can't even get a haircut in the game and your choice of hairstyle is permanent after character creation, lol)

Don't get me wrong, the game's good, and I'm sure it would be fixed down the line, similar to how Witcher 3 was at launch. Currently though, the game's an 'eh' from me, and I'd skip purchasing it until a year or so later. Will update my review then.

A masterpiece, seriously.

Just the single player campaign more than makes up for the price of the game. The story is beautifully crafted, the writing is really good and the voice actors are amazing as well. The map is huge and really detailed, there are lots of activities to do, items to collect, and many sites to discover. The side quests are meaningful as well, and aren't your usual cookie cutter fetch quests.

I've encountered very little bugs and overall the game runs pretty well at med-high settings.
I haven't played Online so I don't have any thoughts on it yet.

Metro: Last Light Redux is an atmospheric RPG that takes place exactly a year after the events of the first game, following its ending where Artyom calls down a missile strike on the Dark Ones. Yes, the game features a hidden karma/moral system which culminates in either a good or bad ending. (From some Googling, it seems like the majority of players would get the 'bad' ending either way despite having made several good moral decisions) The game is fairly short however.

One word that would best describe this game would be immersive, having a simple or empty HUD, despite it being a fairly dated game. Multiple HUD elements are integrated directly into your screen, removing the need for obstructive UI or menus for features such as a map, which might take one out of the experience. Examples include the remaining time on your air filter being displayed physically on your watch, or your objective compass being something you hold instead of having a separate menu. Transitions between different cut scenes and gameplay is very smooth as well.

Overall, I don't see much cons with the game. The interactive cut scenes are great, the story is interesting, the inventory management is simple, the gunplay is satisfying while at the same time carrying certain elements of horror. The game's definitely worth a buy, especially while it's on sale, and I would suggest getting Metro 2033 / Exodus alongside since they are all very beautiful games.
