So i love this game, the playstyle itself is brilliant and the idea behind it is bloody brilliant, sure some of the characters are a bit on the OP side but that happens with a lot of multiplayers and can be worked on.

That was the nice part....so whilst playing the open beta (back before release) i encountered none of the problems that everyone had complained about and fell in love with game because of that. That was the moment of peace, the honeymoon period so to speak, from the moment of release it went completely downhill...It started with people just quitting and having to force close the game just because it was the easiest way of getting into another game quicker but rapidly transformed into being randomly kicked from parties and games as well as not being able to play or rejoin. In the end it's clear Ubisoft did not learn their lesson from R6S and just half-assed the servers because it's cheaper, It's a shame to see an otherwise awesome game go down the toilet.

I've been playing Dota for nearly 2000 hours now, so i think it's about time i finally give some sort of opinion on it. If you are interested in picking up a game that's easy to learn but a lot harder to master then this is definitely the game for you however you will get addicted to it so much so that nearly 2000 hours later you wonder what the ♥♥♥♥ you just did with your life. I only recently started played ranked games and i really should've started playing it sooner because most of the time everyone is so much friendlier and better at team plays, sure if you don't want to be serious and just play pub then by all means do so but most pubs tend to go something like:

Pick US server
Someone nearly doesn't load in
As soon as picking starts someone disconnects and takes about 10 mins to reconnect
Russians tell you to speak Russian
Someone says mid or feed
The team does ♥♥♥♥, the russians tells you he slept with your mum and complains about his ping (No ♥♥♥♥)
A player starts courier feeding
Whoever picked PA, Riki, Ursa or Huskar wins because thanks for the nerf Gaben

All in all if you want to have fun play on pubs and spend more time learning russian then actually playing but ranked is generally much better if you want to take the game seriously however avoid captains mode unless you have a 5 stack because if some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gets captain you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ screwed.

Dota 2 5/7 would cyka again.

update: it's still exactly the same

Early Access Review
So i only recently picked up this game but already i have to say it's one of the better and more interesting FPS games i've played, first of the game is very easy to pick up and you start ouf with a choice of 3 loadouts (however it only changes the main gun) which is nice to start of with that kind of variety, also you get to choose any of the characters to start of with then you get the chance to unlock two more as you level up. Each character has their own ability and the sync in-game which allows you to (for a short time) use any allies ability not only making team fights more encouraged but the better strategy. The range of guns, maps and characters available makes each game a different yet exciting experience and generally the community is very friendly, whilst most of the time you will be put into games with people of similar skill level sometimes you get an extremely high ranked player who tends to dominate however the game still remains fun.
There are some complaints in that most of the maps are incredibly small, this also effects spawn points as sometimes you end up spawning right in front of the enemy and dying almost instantly, the spawnpoints themselves seem to change althroughtout the game which isn't necessarily a bad thing (as it prevents spawncamping) however like i said on occasion you will spawn in front of about 6 enemies and be ravaged of your innocence. There was also one incident where i started lagging but somehow it effected my fps, bearing in mind my pc is fairly new and powerful i wasn't sure if it was my pc or just the way lag effects gameplay, another little issue is that the GP and EXP seems to vary very strangely i've had some games with a k/d of 17/5 for example and only got a small amout despite winning and the other way around, in spite this and other small problems the shear amount of weapons and customisations, character choice (and modifications) makes this game well worth the purchase and incredibly good especially for an early access game. I would highly reccomend this to anyone who is a fan of the anime or is looking for a new and easy to learn FPS game.
