Steam version doesn't work, download it from the Battle.net launcher.
Game lags, have frame drops and spikes, I'm happy I don't have epilepsy because there's a bug that makes the game Christmas coloured. DMZ is fun, stick to that. Playing with friends is recommended.

Since the big majority of the reviews are positive I will talk about what grinds my gears in F.E.A.R. 2
To be noted that I completed the campaign at N O R M A L difficulty

- weapons seem too weak, I usually find myself putting 20 bullets in one enemy
- poorly ammo pick up rate, from one enemy I usually got around 20 bullets for the assault rifle... what a shame... you are better if you just pick a new gun instead of using the one that you already have
- if you turn around at the perfect moment, you can miss most of the mini - jumpscares, like, for example when you actually arrive at the tree with the swing from the halucinations you can miss Alma completely
- at one point I thought that it was too much for a game that's like the nowadays first person shooter, but it happened around the ending so yea...
- repetitive jumpscares
- repetitive gameplay, you just go from point A to point B, activate that, deactivate this, only to find out that there is another valve that you left open
- I would have loved to hear the voices for the AI from the first game. The chat between them "flank left" or "he's over the re!" just gives another level of detail
- The writen "collectibles" if you wanna call them. Why didn't Monolith stick to the dialog ones, because I abandoned reading them.
- Why did they rename "The Penetrator" from the first game with "Warhammer"? Or why just name the damn thing "penetrator" if you're not gonna stick to the original name :/
- If the main campaign seemed a little bit long, the "Reborn expansion pack" was too short!!!!! About one hour long- ish
- What does the mounted MG on the ACP shoot? I am really curious because I saw normal cartriges beeing thrown out.
Besides all that, I actually had fun for the most part, it kept me engaged and the mech fights were ok, the mounted MG was, meh. The "Reborn" had a nice turn up of events, but as I mentioned it was way too short.
Overall I give it a 9/10
