Early Access Review
There are performance issues, for sure. Swapping to DirectX12 from 11 fixed most of these, and I could (kinda) comfortably play even 3v3 armoured buhurts on my gtx1660.

After getting past this,
I'm enjoying what I'm playing,
which is more half sword content. The ragdolls are improved, there are new maps (slums ) and weapon types (flail my beloved) and robbing even the clothes off of your opponents' backs is funny as ♥♥♥♥.

What I dislike on launch is
:I am moving way too fast when I hold shift and W, feels twice as fast as the demo and janky compared to the rest of the combat.

There's also too little clarity on many ingame mechanics (I choked a guy out one-handed, somehow, and could never replicate it)

There's no easy reset for progression mode from what I can see, which would add to replayability for me

Overall,
Half Sword is in an early, drunken state, but I find that and its brutal physics-based combat hard to find with as much love anywhere else. I wouldn't recommend it to people who are on the fence about buying, but if you loved the demo you might love the full game - if you can get it to run smoothly.

I love Limbus Company, I love """Radical Feminism""" if that's what gave us swimsuit skins. A few angry people with less than 50 hours played... I wonder if they've ever played Library of Ruina or Lobotomy Corporation? Maybe they'd understand that showing skin in The City is akin to asking to be eaten alive...

Amazing game with multiple endings, allowing for around 70 hours of play-time if you wish to 100% it.
The story of the game is oddly relatable for many people, barring obvious somewhat supernatural elements of the game. The combat system, though not entirely unique, is very satisfying and fun. Even at the end of the game, i found myself trying out new strategies with new skill combinations. The art-style of OMORI - both drawn and pixel - is arguably what draws most people in: It's very appealing to look at, and is consistently awe inspiring throughout the entire game. This game has a level of polish that's hard to find in many games, and I think this was 6 years well spent. Good job, OMOCAT and everybody else who worked on the game.
