It was a good run but guess it was inevitable that sooner or later Sony had to go ahead and burn all that goodwill Arrowhead earned, by pushing the PSN account linking requirement. I wouldn't trust Sony's databases with any information, considering how many leaks and hacks they've had over the years so I'm not about to humour their little stunt to artificially inflate the PSN active userbase statistics so they can get some nice claps at the next shareholder meeting. Also with how outright hostile the official community managers have been acting towards any negative reception or even questioning over this, has made it pretty clear that even if everyone links their PSN account, the community will be going downhill from here. Expect further hostilities against the active userbase and community that remains to only escalate in the upcoming months.

At this point it's become rather apparent that CA is not going to ever improve as a company, their only care is how many suckers they can rope in to investing in their eternal DLC cycle. Their methods for milking their customers via piecemealed DLC is similar to Paradox, but even Paradox isn't quite as blatant about not caring about their customers beyond their wallet. "The right to discuss is a privilege—it is not an entitlement you earn by playing the game", luckily this is not a discussion and far as I know I still have the "right" to leave a review to warn people not to believe their lies again.

It's pretty alright.
