This game is iconic. I've spent 102 hours in it. I have gone back to it multiple times, with years in between. You should play it.

Repeats what worked in the first Subnautica, and builds nicely on the story without being *too* derivative (though it is a bit). A fun play-through - took me ~24hr of in-game time, though I enjoyed a bit of base building and exploring.

Truly an exceptional game - I came in knowing basically nothing about orbital flight mechanics, and learned a ton. My highlight was when I got a manned pod stuck in orbit around the mun, and built a space bulldozer to push it back towards earth. Many, many hours later.... successfully landed it back on earth, saving my Kerbal. Totally worth it.

Excellent game - some portions are derivative of Portal and similar games in the genre, but the story more than makes up for that minor quibble. Solid game - well worth the playtime.

True to the original and a lot of fun, but expect to be punished. This game is old-school-NES hard.
