Every year I buy a horror game for Halloween, and I'm really happy that this was the game I decided on.

Slowly ruined the game with all the BS they added. Would never touch this game again.

Honestly one of the best games I've played in a long time, and I outright disagree with the negative reviews criticising the combat, movement or puzzles in this game.

Both the combat and movement have depth and a learning curve. It's not something you can just pick up and be good at. For me, that is what makes it so much more fun and rewarding. Mastering both the combat and movement gives you a huge boost in performance when tackling bosses and parkour.

As for the puzzles, when strictly following the main path they are simple yet rewarding. The difficulty ramps up when doing optional content, as it can get much more complicated and they don't hold your hand. Some of the puzzles even have multiple ways of solving them which further pushes the immense amount of freedom in the way you play.

I'm not saying that the combat, movement and puzzles are for everyone and i'm not saying if you dislike these aspects you should change your mind or your wrong. I just felt compelled to write this review, after seeing people criticise aspects of Phoenotopia that I truly enjoyed and wouldn't want changed.

Thanks for reading

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a must play, and I could gush for hours about how great a game Sekiro is. But rather than talk about the plethora of positives, I find myself wanting to highlight the problems. In my eye, Sekiro is a flawed 10/10 and I want to list the real negatives, unlike the people calling a hard game too difficult and leaving negative reviews. So without further ado, here's the list of negatives:

-To many reused/recycled mini bosses… I mean ffs you fight the headless 6 times!
-Enemy models look all the same, the monks in Senpu Temple have it the worst.
-Death, means too little for skilled players and too much for bad players. Soulsborne games have always had this problem.
-Almost zero build diversity (makes consecutive runs of the game less fun)
-The prosthetic tools all kinda suck and are only really needed in a few instances, except for the firecrackers, all hail the firecrackers.
-Not enough non-human enemies/enemy diversity. Look at the list of enemies in Bloodborne versus Sekiro zzzzzz.

What should you take away from this review? Well, if the list of negative things sounds like it would ruin the game for you, don’t buy it. If not, I think anyone going in knowing that it’s not a traditional soulsborne game, and that they will have to adapt to that fact will have a blast playing the game.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review!

Starbound is a platform to be expanded upon, without mods this game would be a 5/10 and honestly I wouldn't even recommend this game. Luckly just like Skyrim and Fallout 4, the modding community is extremely active. Every week new mods pop up making the experience that much better. Currently I have 337 mods installed, some small and others completely game changing. Only because of the dedicated mod authors is this game truly amazing. My final score for Starbound is 8/10.

Okami Review

Overview: Okami is an action adventure game in the same vain as Legend of Zelda. But unlike Zelda, Okami sets itself apart through a unique art style, Japanese setting and lore, and a core change too traditional LOZ Items that finds use in and outside of combat.

Story: A black and white story that feel like so much more. It’s not uncommon for a game too be about good versus evil, and games that go for that type of story can sometimes feel mundane. Luckily Okami shines where others fail, the cast of characters and world building is top notch. At no point in Okami did I ever feel like any of the personality’s or environments let down this epic adventure.

Gameplay/Combat: Okami at its core is an uninteresting hack and slash that’s carried by the celestial brush. While it may not be apparent how boring it can be when just playing through the game and only fighting enough enemies for all the demon fang related items. Doing any more (the three trials) can put anyone too sleep, couple this with the overwhelming ease at which this game can beat it can really hurt the experience. Luckily where combat is lacking, gameplay holds this game up on a golden pedestal. Ever ability has an extensive amount of uses in the world of Okami, and as a result the world feels filled to the brim with secretes too find. The amount of times you can revisit a past area and reap rewards because of a new-found power makes the adventure part of Okami truly stand the test of time.

Music/Sound: WHY NO “RESET”!!!!! Other than that, the Music and Sounds are top notch and can even put games that come out today too shame. Don’t believe me? Just search up the OST :)

Graphics/Performance: Truly timeless, I had doubts in my mind as it’s been along time since I played Okami and I kind of forgot what It looked like in game. I was happy to see that my worries were completely unwarranted. As for the Performance, Okami runs at 30fps without any drops, which is pretty good for a game that was originally made for the ps2 and came out in 2006.

Conclusion: Okami is a Masterpiece, and I think anyone who give the game a fair shot will see just how great a game Okami can be. I can only hope that more people get the pleasure too play such a great game and a classic.

Thanks for Reading…
