Pros:-
-Visuals
-Environment design and exploration
-Challenge tombs/crypts and decent puzzles

Cons
-Annoying gameplay decisions like going into a non-player controlled animation when trying to go through gaps in walls/rocks etc. Which means you can't backtrack out if you change your mind and decide to go back without watching the entire animation play out again.
-Repetitive combat(Apply mud->sneak->stealth kill-> repeat)

Story is average and I absolutely loathe the concluding thoughts Lara has at the end of the game.
That being said, exploration and the environments(though mostly forests) are extremely well done and it is an enjoyable experience. The highlight of the game are the challenge tombs/crypts etc.

Rating 7.5/10

Took around 45 hours to beat on the first playthrough with very heavy exploration and 2 instances of farming(Edit:- Forgot to mention, I got the Return ending which is takes the longest to achieve it seems. And apparently there are 3 other endings to this game, so great replay value).

This game is difficult if you are used to playing Dark Souls-ish games as it makes you unlearn a lot of the mechanics from those games. Instead of block/rolling/continuous evasion, this game forces you to go head-on and clash the glorious nippon steel with your foes at full throttle.
If you keep your block up, prepare to get punished after getting posture broken. The trick is to learn the enemies attack patterns and deflect his attacks by just blocking the instant his/her damage is about to hit you. All the other while, you need to be aggressive and target their posture meter down to get deathblows. If you consider enemies having just 2 resource bars (health and posture in sekiro instead of health and stamina from souls games), then focusing on posture breaks is what works in Sekiro. At the end of the day Sekiro's combat seems close to a rhythm game.

That said, there is a lot of flexibility in Sekiro in terms of how you want to approach fights. The boss encounters are memorable and the mini-bosses are basically skill-checks to see if you have really learnt the mechanics of the game up till that encounter.

And there are multiple endings, and certain bosses are locked out if you chase certain endings. So there is quite a bit of replay value here. Not to mention NG+, demon's bell and no Kuro's Charm challenges if you really want to spice up the difficulty. While it is a complete game on its own, I do wish they launch some DLCs. There are certain stories and characters mentioned in the lore of this game which would make fantastic DLC additions.

Just beat this game. I still have 4 more endings to unlock along with the DLC content. But let me tell you one thing. If you are a gmer, and you have not beaten hollow knight, your gaming career is incomplete. It is absolutely magnificent. From the brilliant soundtrack of Crishtopher Larkin to the level design, boss fights, secret areas, hidden locations, items, boss battles, and most importantly, the LORE! I was never a fan of 2D platformers. But hollow knight changed that notion for me. It is an absolute must play for any gamer. And I can say confidently that we do not deserve team Cherry. Hollow Knight"Silksong will be one of the first game pre-orders that I ever do. These guys are amazing and so is this game. You need to play it. No questions asked. You will never understand what you are missing out on if you do not play hollow knight. 20/10 for me. Any price for this game is too cheap(unless its a million dollars).

Heard about this game back when it released but never got around to playing it. Well, now having played and beaten it, I can say that I absolutely loved it. It manages to provide some great relief to the dark souls itch that "souls-like" lovers have. And it has enough new twists and mechanics up its sleeve to set itself apart from it.
Pretty great all around. Loved the environments, the music(whenever its used), the art style, the loot(oh god there is so much loot in this game).
If there is a Salt and Sanctuary 2, will definitely play it. 4/5 stars for me. Loved it.

This game came out of nowhere and dropped a bomb. Earned its name of "Dark souls with guns". Difficulty in this game is no joke. However, nightmare difficulty seems to be a bit unfair since all enemies just turn into bullet sponges. But in normal and hard mode, this game shines.
Procedural map generation ensures amazing replay-a-bility. I did not have 6 bosses in my world that I had to grind through co-op. Amazing idea and implementation. Extremely impressive considering its just a AA game. The music is great. Gun mechanics are solid. Even normal difficulty is fairly difficult. Story could have been better, but hey, it nailed the mechanics.
The devs seem to be good with regular patches and a free dlc announcement.
Honestly very very fun experience. One that I didn't know I wanted.

I don't know what happened in later stages of this game's development but it must not have been something good.
The Council starts off as an amazing game with brilliant character interactions and an interesting skill tree system. The storyline and dialogue is very well done in the first 4 episodes.

But then in the final act, all of that takes a nosedive and the ending is utterly utterly disappointing. What a shame. Could have been such a great game but it almost felt like they were rushed to end it and took an easy non-eloquent way out.

TLDR:- 80% of the game is really really good. Very good puzzles. Interesting skill tree system. Final act is the worst thing to have ever existed. 3/5 for me(that final act was atrocious.)

10/10.

I understand that its an older title but that doesn't matter. The game is optimized to run blazingly fast even on a potato.
The action and combos are absolutely insane.
The fight sequences are even better.
Buy this if you absolutely want to punch stuff into the sun *wink wink*

I used to hate games with isometric view (still don't love them). But this game changed that notion for me.
Amazing visuals, combat mechanics, lore, character interactions based on which class you are playing,a solid story.
A must play.

Have been playing Smite since mid of Season 3. Season 6 is about to come out at the time of writing this review(10/02/2019).
I couldn't get into MOBAs with top down view. So smite was my fix. It gave me the 3rd person perspective MOBA I didn't know i wanted. Game is absolutely free and you can play it without spending a dime on the game if you wish too. You will just have to grind and unlock all the 99 gods that are in the game(You are given 5 free gods and 5 random gods are of rotation/available each week).
It takes an incredible amount of investment in order to truly master a god, learn about the items in the game, learn about counterpicking/counterbuilding. There are nearly an infinite amount of choices at your disposal.

While the game is a blast to play the most issues you will have are close to patch days. While they have gotten better at addressing bugs, there are some really annoying connectivity issues which mars some of the enjoyment to be had.
But its worth the time.

DayZ is interesting. What makes DayZ good is its unpredictability in player-player confrontations or scenarios.Just hope that it isn't really a showcase for the messed up stuff people can end up doing when there's nothing to keep them in check.

Edit in 2015:- The devs looked like they wanted to make stuff interesting. But one year later, its apparent that they just wanted to make a cash grab. This is pathetic from the devs. Would not recommend this to anyone now.
