The best dinosaur sim out there by far. Great dinosaur mechanics, but many random and tedious bugs. Devs add features which are cool like the recent diabloceratops and its battle stance but it always comes with extra bugs to deal with that may be annoying but I haven't found them to take away from my experience. This game is very immersive and roaming the jungle deciphering distant calls, whether they are your prey or your friends or your hunter, is very fun. You can play solo but it's difficult, you should play this as a dinosaur simulator and dinosaurs always roamed in packs. The community is good but there will always be some little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that griefs (e.g. starts attacking members of your pack, or tries to kill the egg-siblings) but I think most are good people. The sound tech in this game is wonderful, the graphics are even better, and the map is big with many recognisable landmarks that help you roam it without any 3rd party maps. It has classic dinosaur types plus different niche types with different mechanics each (some swim, others fly, others climb trees, etc.). Overall a great game, honestly.

If this game wasn't 20 bucks I don't think it would be worth it as is, but 20 dollars for the best dino sim out there to date with manageable bugs is not bad at all. Highly recommended.

Core gameplay is good, but still missing features. I recommend you wait until at least custom maps are available to play in (said to be released spring next year)

I played this game for 31 hours straight, no breaks other than bathroom and food breaks. All continuous, smooth gameplay in co-op. Needless to say, this game is one hell of a drug...

Hundreds of hours of gameplay outside of steam. I installed this game and let it run for 5 minutes just to post this review. There is a big majority of players that share my opinion but are so drained by this game that they wouldn't ever install it again to review it.

Great experience only because there is no other real medieval sandbox game out there. Other than that, terrible game devs, expensive as ♥♥♥♥ monthly sub, more game bugs and glitches than there are features (I wish I was exagerating). Servers are so unstable, at first it was funny but once it tips the scale whereas unstable gameplay is the norm, then it's not okay anymore. Not worth the purchase in any way whatsoever. Also their EULA is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥, if you've never read one before and are the type to just click "Accept" on everything, this one is the type that you DO need to read. You pretty much are left without any basic rights as a customer, regardless of national laws. Enjoy being a good goyim.

Overall don't buy this. I know it sucks there is no other medieval sandbox game, but just suck it up and wait for a better one. There is really no excuse to buy this, honestly. I had a good time with my guild but I could've had the same experience and possibly even better in a game with more competent development.

At least bannerlord is coming out soon (LOL YEAH RIGHT). Liking medieval games is true suffering.
