A bit of a grindfest but all things considered a solid game to play with friends and sink hours into.

With the power of the Source engine a remake of the original Counter-Strike, now enhanced the new game features drastically; improving visuals, sounds and game mechanics along with ye old classic maps. Everything feels the same besides that fact that they got rid of that over-powering shield that was in Condition Zero.

This eye candy, sells from its gameplay, a shooter not one for the faint hearted, which differs from most FPS such as Call of duty; controlling a fragile character who dies after a realistic number of wounds, the unique combat style of a HIP SHOOT’EM UP! Frankly, anybody coming to CS: Source afresh, hoping to pick up the multiplayer game all their friends rave about, is going to have their work just as cut out as ever as new player will have no idea why they’re missing all their shot.

Offline skirmishes with AI bots, vocals remains strong, bullet-impact sounds still seem as if they’re happening within inches of you, and rag-doll physics are to die for! :)

Don't mind the 3hr game time as I've played this before it entered the steam market :)

Fun, quirky and cute! Spiral Knights is an MMO that is aesthetically pleasing. As a co-op dungeon crawler, Spiral Knights offers a Diablo-like gameplay: fast paced gameplay carried through various environments. This game bids players to choose from a selection of character type and customisation as the game is further explored.

Each Knight can carry two weapons at a time, melee or ranged, and switch between them at will. Controlling your warrior is simple as 1, 2, 3 with quick clicks that will swipe or fire your weapon to holding down the button for a charged attack; pressing ‘X’ to throw up you very own mother-****ing personal shield. From the safe hub of Haven, you can form a group of up to four knights and instantly dive into a dungeon immediately start your hunt... or should I say tedious GRIND for items.

Ultimately this game was enjoyable to an extent; one thing to point out is the energy system that could hinder your game time. Simple, clean and most of all free to play!
