This is great for loading up to help get through some university work, You can play ambient sounds like snow, wind or the fire over the music, or you can have the music louder than the rest. A great feature I enjoy is the timer that works alongside all of this. It allows me to dedicate as much time as I want to my work before taking a break, and sometimes i even set a timer for my work! I really enjoy this :)

Fantastic game! Loved the original, and loved this remake. It builds on the original material so well, and develops it in necessary ways. Really cannot recommend this game enough. If you're new to RE4 or if you've played the original I promise its worth playing!

love to hate it and hate to love it

I really wanted to love this game, and I did really enjoy the first episode, loved it even, however the novelty wore off rather quickly in the second episode for me. I do really recommend playing the first chapter if you Resident Evil 1 and games in that calibre, however I wouldn't recommend going past that point.
While the introduction of new mechanics didn't necessarily bother me, I somehow manage to survive the introduction of a new mechanic to them immediately get a character killed with said mechanic the next time it was introduced, which was incredibly frustrating for me. I haven't needed to restart a chapter or anything, but I do feel if that was to happen I would've just stopped playing.
I was rather on the fence with the whole permadeath mechanic of the game but gave it a go anyway, and was pretty irritated by it within the second episode. The only character I lost in the first episode felt a little annoying but it didn't bother me too much, as - even though it wasn't obvious - it could've been avoided. However the multiple deaths from chapter 2 did start to really bother me. By the time I started the third episode the novelty had completely worn off and I haven't touched the game since.
I think should my interest ever peak towards this game again, I shall watch a lets play or general playthrough of the game instead

My word is Love. This is not a particularly long game, but it is one that really gets you thinking. The result of mine hit very close to home for me, so I cannot recommend this enough.

This is a game that excels both as a singleplayer game and a multiplayer game. To play by yourself is tons of fun and playing with your friends is just as much fun if not more so. Not only that, it has a lot of replayability. If these things interest you and are important to you i recommend playing this game
