fun little game

I'm still going to provide a positive review despite everything. The update itself, in game, is fantastic. The sound, gameplay changes and new map, are all very good. However, the UI is absolutely terrible. The old UI wasnt great but they somehow ignored all of the pre-release feedback and put this trash out.

I really do trust they'll fix this and make it right though..

More of the same with D4. Rings hollow and plays like its a mobile game with no feeling or passion into this game. Not a shock to anyone at this point. If you want a hollow-mobile like game, this is for you.

This game would be great if the song list wasn't awful. The modding community is very good however, every update requires fixing everything or downgrading the patch. The game is certainly not worth the hassle.

Its okay. Its Hades-lite.

Very addicting game. A little buggy but the gameplay makes up for it. Excited to see how this goes moving forward.

Original review: This game is promising but my god is it buggy. The concept and story, fantastic. With that said, the constant auto switching of what character I'm on, the passing with pressing no buttons and some of the insanely punishing mechanics are just too much. I'm going to keep at it but some of the stuff is just silly.

Update: So I completed the game last night and wanted to give an updated final verdict. Despite the bugginess, I am changing this to a recommend. The story is funny and the game play loop is solid. I hope they work on the character switching bugs and tweak the AI to make it a little more tolerable at least. The worst one I ran into is my goalie getting stuck behind the net, losing me crucial games on a couple occasions because he would leave the net for seemingly no reason.

All in all, for a $20 game, I'll give it a pass. I had fun.
