I enjoy both FTK 1 & 2 as nice, lighter versions of games like BG3, the old 90s/00s D&D games and their likes; but in something more of a rogue-lite environment.

This one shines most as a multiplayer game for people who game well together and will mostly work as a team. The game-play and core mechanics really shine when at least 2-3 people are playing together. Multiplayer also tends to go a bit faster, unless someone is regularly afk. (Sorry guys) Also plays solidly w/ a controller and on the SteamDeck.

Single player I find can get a bit tedious to play, even with the various vehicles. For Solo, I'd love to see a slight game mechanic change or really, addition, where you can join up and break-away the party members into a travelling pack. A good balance would be that the party on foot can only move as fast as the slowest toon. Especially since you can do a lot of party actions already on anyone's round, and still have each toon get their actions, they just happen to be the party lead that round... again, not that a lot of that matters since you tend to want to keep your group together for the most part. Just something to ease the decision making and remembering as you cycle through 4 characters whose turns can each end up taking a while to execute.

Otherwise, I highly recommend this and FTK1 (more single-player friendly, lol, and I miss that games implementation of the pipes regulating all your gains, instead of hoping to get 1 okay one in a chapter for anyone.) They're fun, easy-to-pick-up, yet involved games with solid execution. Looking forward to more content in this game and hope to see some more akin to FTK1 with the other adventures and the straight-up dungeon run mode. The main campaign is fun and the random maps and collectible adds help a lot, but I'd like a new story or two to play through in this game.

Keep up the good work, and look forward to more!

It's been an awful, outdated game since day 1. Had it been released 5-10 years earlier, it'd maybe have been worth it. Regardless, you're better off watching pain dry. It's a horrible game from a horrible company.
