Game is great, wish I wasnt dumb tho

This game is a classic and over the years I have played thousands of hours in it, I bought it on steam originally due to the convenience after it was released but the 10 hours I have in it on steam unfortunately pale in comparison to the release on GOG with the Commander Pack.

The GOG version is much easier to work with and modernise, e.g a 1080p resolution with the community patch in the battles and more great features that you should 100% utilise.

All in all its an amazing game and my favourite RTS of all time so I would recommend buying it BUT I would recommend you buy it on GOG.

Would recommend to anyone who loves variety in wallpapers but hates standard wallpapers and the need to search out good images. This gives more options and has some absolute bangers, I love it, cannot go back.

UPDATE: Game keeps getting more and more cool, and if you want there is a great community of players to collaborate with or just talk about the game :)

Has some bugs and runs like garbage but plays better than Civ VI

This game was great until they added all the microtransactions and skins stuff trying to cash in on the popularity of the game. They basically whored it out. In saying that the game is still good gameplay wise and is fun to play, just if you want to get any extras expect to fork out some cash.

Also my guild has a 4 year old note in it that has been constantly added to and its hilarious to look back on, the game is such good fun with friends.

Is amazing with great community, also recommend the sequel.
