This game is a masterpiece of music, gameplay, environments, and story telling. The world is something you can get lost in while you turn your headphones or speakers up, and get immersed. The dialogue makes you want to find out more and click every option to find out more lore, or backstory of certain characters and events. The music can set the tone so well for every moment. So many times it emphasizes the sadness, or, brings out the heart pumping action in combat.

And, I often found myself getting goosebumps from scenes just because of how the music blended with the moment. The gameplay is something you will find familiar if you have played any of the following: Tomb Raider, Skyrim, Fallout, Far cry, or Assassin's Creed. The game perfectly blends all the great parts of these games into its own formula, and adds a little spice to it.

And finally, the graphics. If you have the hardware to do so, turn this game up to 11 and break the nob off. You wont regret it. This is the type of game that you turn your headphones up for the audio, but also play it at the highest settings, on the highest resolutions your PC can muster simply because - in my opinion - you would be doing this game a disservice if you didn't.

I took over 300 screenshots in this game, and I cannot tell you just how gorgeous and spectacular every inch of this game is. You don't get the Bethesda treatment where every tree is copy and pasted 500 times in one area with little-to-no variance between them. The game is packed with so much detail that if you enjoy amazing graphics in games, you will be stopping every 10 minutes to admire a new view.

The story has a little something for everyone, as it features side quests that are interesting, and offer insight into the political/religious views of the world and the people in it, and also the events of the past. All of which are unique feeling, and for me during my play-through, I never felt fed up with any of them. I kept going, and completed almost all of them.

Or, you can go around and do the equivalent of helping the old lady with her shopping, or getting the cat out of the tree type of errands. But even those are interesting enough where you want to finish them since they can offer you more insight into the events of the world, or just helps make the world feel more alive and real.

And the main story... Oh my god. I was hooked. It was so cool, and so unique! The characters, and cut scenes were stellar! I found myself actively reading every lore page I found in dungeons, or listening to every audio log because it was so gripping. And I am not typically the person who does that - not unless I'm really invested into the story.

Needless to say, this game is damn near perfection. I wont lie and say it was absolutely 100% perfect and I never ran into small things that could've been better. But anything I could say that wasn't amazing were very very minute. Like the fact that you can stagger machines the size of cars or builds, but a guy in cloth you can't. Or the fact that, as fun as the spear combat is - it was my preferred way to fight things - the spear combat was a little lackluster in certain moments. Sometimes offering you a crazy awesome Dark souls-esque fight, and some times doing nothing to help you. And some of the unlockable options for combat, spear and otherwise, were unlocked pretty late in the game.

In the end, this is the first review I have ever typed up on steam. This game is just that awesome, I needed to put its awesomeness on a page for others to read.

I'd rate it a 9.8/10.
