Always remember overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.. words of wise to heed when it comes to Darkest Dungeon and all it rage inducing glory. This game is very much wonderful, the design for characters, the backstories and reasons behind it all; it'll draw you in and make you want more.

Do keep in mind though this game is RNG based; you may have a great team and fall victim to a certain attack missing or a boss doing something you weren't expecting and cause you to ruin your characters permanently, putting a lot of work in the gutter.

If you dwell into the mods of Darkest Dungeon your in for a treat as well; lore, fight mechanics, and new characters have been built beautifully by the community and it'll suck you in with all it beauty.

The only con i could say to this all is RNG like mentioned; this game will ♥♥♥♥ you sideways without a second thought; i've had runs where on the "easiest" difficulty i was slaughtered at the slightest whim, while on harder difficulties it become a breeze; which means it recommended your patient with this game and to be prepared that you will lose some of your stronger units; you will lose to bosses and when you finally prevail over them, when you feel victorious burn in your heart with all it glory?...

Ever have a game where you could feel so much joy yet so much rage and salt at the same time? If not, than you do now. Especially great when modded and with the upcoming addition to it, it'll become easier than ever to enjoy it!

This is the sort of game i've come back to more often than I can remember; the normal servers are as you'd expect; more pay to win, and work for some and not so much others.

The reboot server has personally been a save and grace in my eyes; it makes it possible to work up on things and complete it in a way that might not seem possible otherwise.

The classes are up and down i'd say personally; you can get ones you like and some you don't like; it a rewarding system though where difficulty can make things more enjoyable once you accomplish what your trying to do.

All around i'd give the game 8/10 personally; since even if I remove the game plenty of times it always a rush of nostalgia when I come back to it and relive some old memories again.
