Better than the recent games but not even close to the EA ones and NR2003. Still good overall though.

First off, this can be a really tense game, depending on how you play it and if you actually get scared from horror games (which I usually am not). The one bad part I have encountered so far (after 3 nights in my first playthrough) is that it is not a hard game if you find the right strategy or strategies:

(Both these things are explained in game [Nights 1 and 2] and there are no big spoilers from the rest of the recordings on these nights or any other nights)
- You need to try and save 50% from 12-3 so you have the other half of battery life from 3-6, which isn't that hard if you know what to do and when to do it. If you have a strategy that can help you do this, you'll make it to 6 AM usually, and therefore it won't really scare you as you know what to do and how to last the whole night.
- If a character is not on one of the cameras they are most likely at a door so it really eliminates any scare tactic there, unless of course, you forget that part of the recording and don't realize that until after you see it.

Overall it is a really good game, but it may benefit from having more rooms added without cameras (or ones that have blindspots where the animatronics can hide) so it eliminates the problem I have with the second point. I'm not sure how it would be possible to fix or change the first issue I have, unless it actually does become very hard for nights 4 and 5, which I have yet to start. If so, then the first point may not end up being a problem if you are forced to change strategies midway through the playthrough due to losing too much battery life.

I Like Planes.
