The goals keep you hooked, the combat is solid, and even though the movement can feel stubborn, it’s still a fun experience.

The biggest issue with this game is the launcher and the single-player experience.
In the very first mission I was kicked for inactivity while moving in prone, trying to stay undetected. The always online requirement makes things even worse, and the default setting that forces squad fill completely ruins the feel of a true solo campaign. Overall, it’s a thoroughly disappointing single player experience.

The graphics are a mixed bag. Cut scenes look fantastic, but in actual game play, objects and item outlines visibly pop in and out while standing still. It breaks immersion and feels unpolished.

Multiplayer, on the other hand, is genuinely great for COD fans and new players. They finally got that part right. Reused maps aren’t a problem, but some of the new ones feel too open on the left and right lanes, which leads to constant cross-fire from multiple angles. Still, aside from a few map issues, multiplayer is solid.

The game is really only worth it for multiplayer. With so many reused assets and a weak single-player mode, it’s hard to justify the $70 price tag. You’re better off waiting for a sale.

Update: I’ve felt like the game isn’t as good as the beta, so I haven’t been playing much multiplayer and was on single player for a little. I decided to get back on multiplayer, and the match I was playing in, I was kicked from. I wasn’t doing good in the game and I first thought, since the Cloudflare thing happened, it was just the servers and got off. But now I’m noticing when I play, I can’t find a lobby. I refunded Battlefield 6 to get BO7 and now it definitely doesn’t feel worth it.

I never cheated or hacked or exploited the game in any way. I’ve never been shadowbanned in any COD. I’ve been playing since COD4 and this is the first time I’m experiencing something like this. I left the Metal clip link showing it happen in real time and my confusion. Now whenever I try to go online, I can ONLY find a game on Nuketown, and when I do find a game it is 100% with a hacker. The vote will never count down, the map never gets picked, or we get into the lobby and keep getting headshotted.

COD’s solution was, they suspect me of hacking, so they subject me to a hacker? Very weird, very wrong. They literally took my ability to play away and it’s basically a very big waste of money. DONT buy the game, and refund it while you can. LMK if anyone has a similar experience.

Really fun and respectful players. Needs more options for the amount of cars but a solid game.
