The game is great, one of the most fun games to come out in the last few years.

But the PSN account linking is unnecessary. It's not needed and it's not wanted.
That the mandatory PSN account linking also locks people out if they happen to live in a country where PSN isn't operating, and banning them for using VPNs to create an account, that is unforgivable.

Highly recommend this game to fans of Aliens and squad-based games.

It comes with great atmosphere, a solid story and fun gameplay.
The ability to customize your individual squadmembers makes you care a bit more for your favorite ones other than because they're the highest level with the best gear, creating some unique tension where they can be killed or abducted during encounters.

On medium difficulty, while checking for items, datapads and avoiding patrols, the game took me 37 hours to complete, hopefully further content will be released, as the game definitely deserves more content. Absolutely solid.

While some levels were buggy during my playthrough, preventing me from 100% completing the game, they did not halt my overall campaign progress.

A game that had alot of potential, until the devs abandoned it. It's not feature complete, if you end up buying it anyway, don't expect a good experience nor a lengthy one.

This is one of the few games i could play over and over again. Definitely a recommendation.

For those who want a more lengthy review:
This is one of those games where it can take a while to get into, and some might never get into it.
The combat is, in my opinion, really well made. I still find it fun to start the game and just get into a fight with the many various creatures within Gransys (And Bitterblack Isles). And with the 9 different vocations, and the pawn system, it really makes the combat enjoyable, with some extra replayability. Getting tired of being that heroic knight? Switch vocation and become that dashing rogue you have in your dreams. Or maybe switch your waifu pawn's vocation.

The atmosphere of the game is quite spot on. And i remember when i first started playing on the console, the nights were terrifying.

Story-wise, the story is definitely there. Is it good? Not compared to story-driven games really. But it IS interesting and quite unique, in my experience, but it might take you most of the game to "realise". For some, it does falls flat on its face.

Romance, It is admittedly not the best. But it's something atleast. Without a previous experience, and/or reading up on the system, it's ridiculously easy for some to end up with some 'random' npc. *cough*Caxton*cough* (Which for some may end up being a good laugh.)

To cut it short; Do you want a game where the combat is really enjoyable, and fighting 'bosses' / giant creatures is well executed? This game is for you.

10/10 would watch my captain fall over and slide across the island into the sea again.

I bought this game back when it was considered the worst game on steam, which it was. But i still personally enjoyed it, and i recommended it to anyone who just wanted to blast some dinos.

Now, several years later and after loads of updates, the developers have really redeemed themselves.
The developers listened to the community, and got to work despite all the hate they recieved. (My hat off to you devs.)

Now i can highly recommend this game to anyone who wishes a cheap, but fun game to play!
This game isn't for everyone, ofcourse. But with all the different gamemodes, the good community and the chance to get eaten by a T-rex you're bound to have fun with it!

Great gameplay, fun quests and big battles. And with that, colourfull graphic. It's a great game and i strongly recommend it!

This mod is truly awesome..
