I would say I think this is the best single player FPS I have ever played.
The game play is incredible and the story is decent although it is not the main focus of the game. If you prefer more focus on story telling and don't care about the game play so much, maybe some other game is better for you.
Aiming and hitting enemies is quite easy, but dodging, moving around and regaining health in the midst of battle is the real challenge. On the most difficult setting the game can be incredibly difficult although not unfairly punishing.

This is one of the best indie games that there are and my most played single player game on steam.
It is a deep strategy game with elements from roguelikes such as the merciless Random Number Generator, permanent death and shortish playthroughs. However, with a lot of hidden and unlockable content the game can entertain you for hours.
