I have played 13 hours of Sun Haven. It has a lot of great features, and does some really cool things to mix up the now-tired Stardew-style formula. But talking about any of those positives is utterly pointless, as it is impossible to enjoy this game in its current state.

There have been game-breaking bugs, the only fix for which is you (and anyone you're playing with) starting over from scratch, in this game for well over a year. Reports on the Steam forum and the official Subreddit go back as far as April of last year. As far as I can tell, there has been zero official recognition of these bugs outside of a community manager replying with a nothing statement that started with "huh, that's weird!" on one such Reddit post.

The game is buggy. So buggy that the fact they continue to release over-priced cosmetic DLCs is straight-up insulting to their playerbase. It's shameful, and shows that the higher-ups in the dev studio care more about profits than actually making a good game. Add to this the fact that apparently the heads of said studio are yet to provide any credit to the people who actually made this game, and that should tell you everything you need to know.

Do not buy this game. Do not support these development methods. It should have never released out of early access, and is not worth your money.

Doesn't feel too much like an early access game, just a few missing events etc. Beautiful game, gameplay loop is fun and doesn't get boring. Unlike a lot of games of this sort, namely Stardew Valley and My Time At Portia, I never felt like I was just completing a list of chores, and I never felt rushed, like I could just go at my own pace and do whatever I want to.
