Years ago, I was introduced to TF2... and I loved it. Despite not having a PC of my own to play it on, as I was a really young kid back then, I still watched so much content related to it.

SFM or GMod animations that were usually nonsense? Hell yeah.
YouTubers, like Jerma, for example? You got it.

Despite not even PLAYING the game, it still had an impact on my life. I can't even imagine how original players that played back in the early 2010's, or hell, even in 2007, when it came out must feel.

Fast forward to about a few years ago. I had zero clue about the bot crisis, as my interests had moved on from TF2.
Until I realized that I could totally play this game I used to be SO interested in as a kid.

My first match ever? An official server. Filled with bots. Literally unplayable.

I know for sure that I am NOT the only new player that TF2 has brought in. There are dozens, maybe even hundreds of us who want to become skilled and make our own memories, like other players have.

This game has been going on 16 years strong, and it's going to turn 17 by the end of the year.
Don't neglect your child, Valve.
