HELLDIVERS 2 was and still is fun to play. The micro transactions are one step past cosmetic only but are otherwise unobtrusive.

I've easily got my money's worth already

The pixel art has a timeless charm to it. Other than that I have few good things to say about this game.
The game constantly switches from fast paced puzzle solving to painfully slow stealth sections. The game also suffers from ludo-narrative dissonance. The first time you gain the power to control fire is when you're burned to death. Every time after that burning to death gives you the option of which save state you want to reload. At several points in my short time with game there is story progression that requires the character to die, a thing that in any other point is a fail state.

Judging from the Steam achievements, 70ish% have the first power and only 25ish% have the second, I feel i'm not alone.
