This WAS a great game.

Then MONTHS AFTER RELEASE they decided they would require signing into a PSN account to play.

One of the staff said something about it only taking 120 seconds to make a new account to play, but that's missing the point. The problem is the principle - why the hell do I need TWO accounts to play a game that ran perfectly fine with just one?

And what about my friends who live in regions where PSN is no longer available? Will they just have to stop playing the game they PAID FOR, or break TOS to play the game they paid for and risk ban? How ridiculous is that?!

If it's "JUST" 120 seconds of my time to make a PSN account to play this game, why do the developers/publishers need me to do it? Unless it's really not about the 120 seconds, but actually about the data they want to harvest, or the control over the community they want to dictate. They wouldn't be requiring this for nothing, and I don't want to pay for this product AGAIN in my data, metrics, or whatever else they may have decided they need to collect.

As such, I have gone out of my way to write a negative review, something I very rarely do considering I rarely write positive reviews too. If they want my data so badly, they can take this massive THUMBS DOWN!

There are simply better games for any part of the War Thunder experience that don't involve either excessive grinding or spending metric tons of money.

Air gameplay is mediocre regardless of whether you play for realism or sandbox, and ground gameplay is only marginally better.

I am not the most skilled Company of Heroes player by a long shot. Despite losing basically every single game of this mod I've played, I have still found the experience to be quite enjoyable and I think this is a fantastic idea and execution of a gamemode. I think it really cuts to a lot of the core enjoyable mechanics of Company of Heroes and with continued updates, features, and a bigger community, this will be one of the better real-time strategy experiences on Steam!

A game that is already incredible, and, given a few years of development, will probably be one of the greatest RPG's of all time. The framework is there, however a lot is missing or feels very temporary. Luckily, the developers appear totally committed to fleshing it out.

It's pretty rough in parts, even for an early access title, but modding and bugfixes make up for that in many cases. I can strongly recommend this game but only if you have the patience and experience to handle a rugged early access title.

This game is a total and complete blast! From a technical perspective, it is exceptional! From a gameplay and fun perspective, it is equally exceptional!

This game is a fantastic sandbox. It is perfect for fulfilling childhood dreams of LEGO in a way that real life blocks never could. The physics are good, the building and editor is one of the best I've ever used, and the wide variety of choices and things that can be done is fantastic. Multiplayer is simple but well integrated for having a lot of fun with friends, and for $15 USD, you probably will get a solid dollar to hour value.

Fair warnings; if you can't make your own fun, this game is not for you. There are very few distinct objectives, and from the start you are more or less left to do whatever you feel like. It can be daunting, and it can even be boring. I strongly recommend playing the game with friends, but if you are good at making your own fun or own objectives, or just enjoy spending some time goofing around and breaking things, or blowing stuff up, this game will be fun for you.

For the developer: This game is fantastic and carries with it some enormous potential! Do what you can to sort out the technical problems and the likes you've been having, and when that's done, I would recommend looking into fleshing out existing mechanics, such as armor, physics, guns, and maybe even AI.

All in all, it is a fantastic sandbox for a wide variety of things to do for a broad pool of different players! I really look forward to seeing how it grows!

A solid showcase of a resoundingly groundbreaking (literally!) new game engine that has the potential to change the entirety of gaming as we know it.

Do you want to play it? Well, do you like Garry's mod? Do you like Minecraft? It's got a bit of each but is also very distinct and unique.

I won't disguise it, the game doesn't have tons of depth. It doesn't have multiplayer, it doesn't have much in the way of gamemodes besides sandbox and the campaign, but those are in and of itself enough to have hours of fun. The base mechanics are extremely fun and satisfying, and the concepts are fun.

For the developers: Amazing job, keep up the good work! Make sure to prioritize modding. This game has the potential to serve as a sort of second Garry's mod, but without extensive modding tools, it will be held back by the limits of its current gamemodes.

All in all, it's a solid game, and I am excited to see what it has in store!
