PC version needs mods to run smoothly, but its a good game.
My sister and i have probably beat this game 6 times on PS2, this games still got its charm after all these years.

this game has come a long way since original launch
player base is one of the best
graphics are average, but good for an MMO RPG
storyline is compelling but kinda basic
interesting and fun weapons and customizations
steam achievements are easy, nothing challenging
lots to do but not very many good ingame tutorials

dungeons and dragons was surprisingly fun in this game, whatever else i did was kool too

mirrors actually work, already more advanced than BF4

storyline wasnt as good as bioshock infinite in my opinion, but i felt more compelled to replay this game but not bioshock for some reason

a great leearning tool to have. some things can be annoying though, you have to take something apart in a very specific way and put it back together a certain way which can get annoying

i love dying of heatstroke when its freezing cold out

still a little rigid, animations need to be smoothed and sounds and the direction they are coming from is somtimes a little off. other than that it is a pretty good game. It can be a bit cu=onfusing at first, this is a back and forth attack and defend kind of game that a lot of people probably arent use to

after a very terrible release with game breaking bugs on all platforms, there are still a few game breakers but they dont pop up as often. i noticed loading a previous mission before i completed the game forced it to crash. cant take screenshots for some reason

other than game breaking glitches that will prolly be fixed eventually the graphics look so much nicer (turn darkness down becuase dark areas seem pretty bright)

AI has been improved like last light along with less derpiness and the game still maintains most of its easter eggs

the whole "seamless" mission thing in the trailers really isnt true, only a few missions were combined

i get on average 84 FPS on medium graphics

This game is really really fun and addicting, but i cant recommend this game for only one very big reason. at about the 30 hour mark of total playtime, EVERYONE and i mean EVERYONE complains that their game crashes and will not start back up regardless of what everyone has tried. the creators of the game, not cabelas but the actual software company was hired to help make dayz, so nobody has gotten any help from them about this serious problem. the next step would be to approach acti vision, but almost 3 months of people begging and getting no response.

on the other hand this game is amazing, way better than any of the previous hunting games, AI can get a bit derpy at times but its usually fine. aiming and holding your breathe is a bit confusing and often the weapons feel like the have never been zeroed in. this game is still very fun though, considering it has a lot of hunting tasks and challenges, it can become very addicting. i feel theres not enough weapons but i play alot of action games so who am i to say. one thing i like is how the anatomy of the animals are and how the game shows the bullet hitting certain vital areas (like sniper elite but with animals). there are quite a few ammo types which makes it feel like the player has a choice to customize their hunting loadout.

i would recommend but that 30 hour mark crash everyone gets is what bugs me
