Perfect game for anyone who loves building a team of kick ass zombie survivalists as well as feel immersed within a zombie apocalypse.

I was thoroughly impressed with the amount of fixes that were made on this version of the game. I love the additions to the loyal fans and love how modding has progressed within the game.

During the campaign, you look at the survival of 3 main characters. Marcus, Ed, and Maya. You find them stranded at the very start of the game. You are invited to join another enclave of survivors who are in the same position. As you progress you are introduced to new characters and the military's involvement within this apocalypse. You are constantly bombarded with quests that will allow you to help your community prosper as well as the characters you favour most but make no mistake the dead are still there.

If that was too laid back and easy for you then the first edition of DLC will help you get that difficulty increase you desire. Unlike in the story, during 'Breakdown' you start off as one character with the forever loved radio girl, Lily Ritter. You are tasked with finding an enclave to take shelter in and help them thrive. While you are collecting resources and battling the dead you will be looking for an RV. A large vehicle which you can fit up to 7 survivors on to progress to the next level. As you increase in level, so does the difficulty. Introducing fewer resources for you to take home. More deadly special zombies which will tear your characters up one by one and faster zombies to make sure you are always on your toes.

If that's too grindy for you and you'd like to play a story with a bit more then 2nd edition of DLC is perfect for you. Looking at the military's involvement far from the home that you are used to in the Campaign and Breakdown. In this post-apocalyptic city, you will battle your way through hordes of zeds to extract VIP's from the area in all hopes to defeat the virus. You will also be tasked on the side if you wish, to help civilians still trapped within the city before it goes up in flames.

I put a lot of hours into the original game during my time on the Xbox 360 and I can happily say that the game runs perfectly on both platforms. I don't think I could find a more perfect game when looking at survival a zombie apocalypse.

I recommend highly to anyone looking for a challenging experience into the survival of the undead.
