My time isn't reflected correctly due to a major flaw the game does sadly have. The game just isn't made for modern systems to be blunt. However, browsing the forums makes it very very easy to find a mod launcher that'll fix it up perfectly! To which, the game has aged pretty well, it's almost dumb fun really, there's still a weirdly well done level of progression. Take this with a grain of salt though, as of writing this I only have maybe five hours in the game, I'm not finished, but I thought the review alone would, and probably should reflect that major issue. If you don't feel like taking a few five or so minutes to fix the game, then you probably really won't like it. If you do, then I bet you'd get a ton out of this!

Got told by a friend that this was his favorite game of all time, and since I trust him dearly, I gave it a try. Not a regret, it's aged poorly in some aspects, but really, they're minor enough that a very basic remake could boost this above and beyond! Coupled with the base game, and the subsequent dlc they give to you for free, it's certainly more than worth the money! If you like RTS's, I imagine you'd get much out of this. If you don't then maybe do the trial of the game first to get a gist of it, and decide for yourself

This is truly a hidden gem, I'd really recommend it! You do need a fair bit of free time on your hands to get pretty far, but you could easily still find some joy out of this. The screenshots may deceive you a bit, as they did me at first, but you really can't sum up this game in those screenshots at all. If you aren't entirely sure, check out some video's a bit, they can really help you get a grasp at the game, and decide if it's for you!
